This a great independent bookstore located on NE Broadway Street. It is a great alternative to the corporate bookstores like Barnes and Noble located at the Lloyd Center. The store has a neighborhood feel to it and the staff is very easy going and helpful. Also, Broadway Books offers the customer a discount card which allows the book buyer to keep track of their purchases at the store. Once, You have bought 12 books the 13th book is free. This is a great way to support this independent bookstore and the local Portland economy. PROS: Independent and locally owned store. Very Friendly. CONS: None

This is a comfortable, inviting neighborhood bookstore. Locally-owned, with a great selection that includes local writers, this place beats the corporate chain bookstore anyday. Friendly and helpful staff make you feel welcome as you browse their great selection.

Broadway Books is a good place to get books or anything else that you enjoy reading. I've always enjoyed myself when I go in here to look for books that I am looking for. I would definitely recommend this.
