Home Ec is refreshingly unpretentious and undeniably fun. The store's friendly feel, combined with its array of vintage merchandise makes visitors want to pull up a plastic lawn chair, pop open a can of beer and stay a while. Inventory ranges from martini shakers and snow globes to a set of dishes like grandma's. The Tiki Corner features colorful mugs, and dancing hula girls, complete with grass skirt. It's the dashboard ornament no hipster can afford to live without.

I love this store. There is so much good stuff. The prices are great. I've been shopping there for years and they are by far the best vintage shop in town. Buttercup is real friendly and is always willing to help me pick out the perfect gift.

Everything great about the 50's lives here. Feels like a leap back to I Love Lucy without the annoying neighbors.
