Don't waste your time.
We called a month ago to reserve space for our daughter's birthday party and were told "no reservation needed, call the morning of the party to order pizza for the time of the party."
When I called the manager argued with me and told me there was no space for our group and that we should've nade a reservation months ago.
Had we not sent out invitations, we would have somewhere else.
The pizza is about the same as you find in a grocery freezer (only much more expensive). Don't waste your time, even for a fund raiser, little league party or anything.
And the play area stinks like pee.
Easily the worst pizza in Portland!.
We ordered a 3-topping pizza and we are still wondering where the toppings went! Is the pepperoni market as bad as gold right now? If you order a pizza at Papa's, expect 1 or 2 slices of pepperoni on each slice and no more.
We won't go here any more. Once we had to send the pizza back because it wasn't fully cooked. Another time we had it delivered and it took over an hour to deliver (less than 5 miles away on a Thursday) the pizza had the wrong toppings AND the delivery punk took my pen!
Unbelievable!!!
I will never again wast my money at this place. Oh and don't bother tipping the old, blonde-haired woman at the back bar- she never smiles and is obviously angry to be working there.
Horrible pizza, mad staff, slow delivery and nasty environment inside. At least you will have your choice of tables because its usually empty!
Try Flying Pie Pizza instead. The new restaurant in Gresham is outstanding!
Great Place for families. I love this place, it is a great place to take the family, I think the food is very good and at a reasonable price. It is great for the kids to go and play in the secure, supervised playroom and for the adults to hang out and visit. We have had several of our kids Birthday parties there. The Salad bar is on the blah side as far as variety goes, but it's fresh, and we like the pizza very much. I think the staff is very helpful and polite. Overall it is a great experience for families.
expensive disappointment. Despite the good things I had heard about Papa's when I moved to the neighborhood, my experience was a huge letdown. The pizza (I had the Combination) was average at best definitely nothing to rave about and VERY expensive (a large was over $30 with drink and tip). In addition, it took over an hour for delivery to less than three blocks away. Another tenant in this building recently had a similar experience with their delivery, though his Taco pizza was better than my Combo. :(
