My number one tattoo shop, great pricing. I went to Raven Ink for my first tattoo, and I've gone there for all my tattoos since. Zak is amazing, I love his artwork and send all my friends to him. I've been through all their books and had some friends visit other artists at Raven Ink and they are all talented and very friendly people. The building is clean, although their parking lot is tiny and hard to get out of. I would recommend them to anyone.
Highly Recommended!. Wade does amazing work and I will absolutely go to him again! Super creative, and reasonably priced for custom artwork.
Best & only place i'll ever go. I looooooove this tattoo shop. i have 6 tattoos and raven ink is by far the best place i've gone too. the artist are great & friendly & there work is AMAZING. i refer all my friends to them & they are all astonished by how beautiful there tattoos turn out to be. please do not take advice from a reviewer has has one or none tattoos (madmom, instead of spending money on tattoos maybe you should spend your money on your child. stop bitching and start acting like a GOOD mom)
Raven Ink - best tattoo shop around!.
This review is mostly for the "idiot songle mom". If you cant afford a tattoo, then don't get one. Spend the money feeding your kids, and taking care of them.... With that said, I have been to raven ink several times, and have always been satisfied with their work and their pricing. They have top notch, quality artists.
The lady with the long review is a idiot, and should be put away for child abuse.... spending money on herself, and not her kids.
Check them out!. I went to check out Raven Ink for tattoo ideas the other day and it was a pretty cool experience. They have a nice little waiting area with couches where you can peruse the art galleries. They even have a bearded dragon lizard hanging out at the shop! Still deciding if I want to get a tattoo yet, but when I do it will probably be here, saw some great pics of their work on facebook.
Good Experience.
I went to Raven as a client looking into getting my first tattoo. A year ago in June, I walked in and was looking at the drawings. I chose one out, I asked the very nice lady at the counter about how much it would cost. She said no more the 100.00. I was going to leave and think about it, however being me, I knew if I left I wouldn't go back, due to being afraid of the pain.
My tattoo artist was apparently new, but she did an awesome job. I was in her seat 45 minutes I think, and came out with a great looking piece of art on my right ankle. In the NEAR future I plan on going back.
quite long but worth the read 3 all done.
Now I will think to myself what kind of a world will my poor son grow up in where it is so easy for people to knowingly take advantage of a very poor single mom who just wanted to do one thing for herself. Now I will take responsibility for not having asked around first that was my fault, but any single parent who can't aford daycare will tell you that finding a time to go and do something with out having to bring you child is very hard to come by and you have to grab the opportunity when it becomes available. I know this is a very long review but I felt I had to share my whole story for anyone reading this so it will hopefully make an impact! Thins is about more than just a tattoo, this is about wether or not we as a society should allow and support people and buisnesses that cheat others in the name of greed! I truly hope this message reaches at least one person, I also hope my son doesn't have to learn to grow such a thick skin as I am having to.
PS. there is a 2000 letter limit sorry it's split like this
quite long but worth the read 2.
when he came back he said it will be few minuets until the artist was ready, he had no change for me. I sat down in shock thinking wow I can't belive the price of tattoo's has gone up that much! Then I thought well maybe it will take longer than I thought. Now I will be fair cause I'm an honest person, the artist was nice when he spoke to me and he did do a good job on the tattoo, but the whole thing took less than a half hour. I was again shocked. I left in a hurry, I was so embarrassed that I might have been taken advantage of in such a way. I didn't want to tell my family how much it cost cause I didn't want to be embarrassed further If I was right. But I couldn't shake the feeling that I was ripped off big time.
I finally asked some people who I couldn't get ahold off before hand that knew a bit more than me about prices on tattoo's, I showed them mine and told them how long it took then asked how much they think it would cost, everyone said no more than 60 tops and at a really fair place 50! I was crushed and furious. Now to some people 40 to 50 dollars may not seem like much, but thats diapers and but whipes for a month to a parent, or a months worth of gas for your car. But more than that it's the principal of it all. they saw a fairly young soft spoken female who didn't know how much it should cost and literally took her for all she had. What I wanted from my tattoo was something I could look at when ever the stress of being a single mom got to me, to remind me of how much I love my son and how blessed I am to have him.
Quite long but worth the read part 1. This review is for anyone looking to get a tattoo but is new to the tattoo experience. I am a new mom and it was a very difficult pregnancy. when I found out I was pregnant I was told I could keep my unborn child or keep my relationship, I made the best decision of my life and chose to be a single mom and went through great peril to keep my unborn baby safe! I was laid off the day after my baby was born and still I was the happiest I've ever been in my life. I wanted since before he was born to celebrate my joy in a way that showed to anyone who saw me how much I love my son. So I designed a tattoo. I finally got the opportunity to get one as a birthday present to myself and from my family. Raven Ink was the closest to my house so I called them first, I didn't wanna be away from my baby for to long. The man who answered the phone said they could get me in that day so i grabbed my picture and went down there. They were very nice but every time I tried to ask how much it would be the man at the counter kept saying what do you need to stay under, I had pulled out 100.00 dollars cause I knew I'd need to get stuff for after care and need to pick up formula and diapers from the store, so I said under one hundred. He said ok sounds good, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that they would give me a fair price. Especially since I already told him that I was a single mom on a budget. It has been years since I've gotten a tattoo and the two I already have I was given a fair price so I was trusting of the people that were being so nice to me. I filled out the paper work and had a seat, He called me over to the counter saying I had to pay first, no big deal, totally understandable. I gave him the hundred dollar bill cause I wasn't able to break it yet and I forgot to ask exactly how much it would be. He took the bill and went to the back where the cash register was, I expected him to comeback with my change.
