Best Chinese food in the PDX Metro Area!!. I have been going to the Dragon Inn for about as long as I can remember - I want to say it's been almost 20 years. We used to go every Sunday evening whe I was a kid, and I drive 20 minutes to get take out from them at least once a month. The service always comes with a smile, food is prompt, hot, and yes, good. I agree entirely with the other poster who says that if you think that you don't like Chinese food, you are going to the wrong places. This is real food, not colorless bean sprout filler. Try the General Tso's chicken, cashew chicken, or the green pepper beef, but you really can't go wrong.  View Less View More

Consistently the best.. After insanity was ruled out, I figured out why so many people claim to not like chinese food. It's because they probably ate at some of the 80% of chinese restaurants that are sub-par. I live in Tigard and when I want chinese food, I don't screw around anymore. I learned the hard way that it is ALWAYS worth the drive to Dragon Inn.

With a huge tree growing through the entryway and out the roof you suspect right away this place might be special, but really it's all about the food. I've ordered most everything on the menu over the past 5 years and disappoinments have been few and far between. Best egg flower soup in existence.

Recommended: Szechuan eggplant (its crispy, not slimy. yum!), dry sauteed string beans, Szechwan broccoli.  View Less
