Where a Lemur can be off leash..... Friendly staff, good food, ok karaoke. Very diverse crowd. great place for a lemUr to run loose and have a blast.

I LOVE THIS BAR!!. This place has been here since before McGloughlin Blvd. was paved! I love going to Pete's on a regular basis because since the first time I ever came in back in 2001, I have felt totally welcomed by the kick-butt bartenders as well as the peeps I have become familiar with over the years. There are always a few bright new faces being intermixed with the regulars who have been coming in since before dirt. The nice part is that there are sooo many different people, it is not just one type of bar, it is many!-Biker friendly bar, after-work happy hour bar, fun girls night out bar, neighborhood hang-out bar, fun karaoke bar, awesome taco night and BBQ night bar!! If you can't have fun at Pete's on a friday night, there is something seriously wrong with you!!!

Relaxed and Fun Environment. I have driven by Pete's Lair for a few years on Mcloughlin and just never went in. Well I went in last friday night and found a serious fun little place. The customers were all friendly, even the ones who you could tell were there every weekend. Me and my group of girlfriends rocked to the karaoke and had some AWESOME drinks!! Those girls behind the bar not only were way cool but threw down some crazy good skittles. For a small place, it rocks!

Too many confrontations, too many drugs.. As a biker bar I must say that most of the people there are extremely friendly. I have been a customer there for years and truly felt at home there whereas I've invited friends of mine to join me and enjoy the experience. However, the manager (head bartender) tends to be a bit brash with the customers unless she either knows you, rides with you, or shares the "a friend with weed (or other) is a friend indeed" motto. I've experienced several encounters with drug dealers there and would not recommend this bar to "civilized" bar goers. Recently there have been several fights in the bar due to the lax drug policy. If you sit in the smoking lounge it's not uncommon to see customers smoking weed on a regular basis.

If you are looking for a meal here everything is "heat and eat" which would probably do well for you if you have the "munchies". Better fare can be found elsewhere.

A shortage of employees often creates a delay in drink service as you may have to wait several minutes while the lone bartender "heats up" some food for another patron. You can literally sit at the bar for several minutes at a time before you're even acknowledged.

It's not that this place has always been like this. For several years it's been a fantastic local hangout. But due to mismanagement the place is quickly losing it's luster.

The House Is Rockin!!!. So you walk in looking for the d.j. and you find pool tables... cool! You walk through the crowd of friendly, down-to-earth people and head to the bar to order yourself a drink. The bar staff is great, very friendly. After greeting people and making your presence known, you reach the DJ...and he gives you a huge welcoming smile and says "hey, how ya doing?" and makes you feel right at home....and then you ARE right at home. So chill out and sing some karaoke!!
