200-400ExtensionsWe offer a variety of extensions here at spruce. Extension pricing involves two parts: the application process, & the cost of the hair. It is dependent upon your current & desired length/density. Some types of extensions require more maintenance in the salon, some call for less, but all types need special upkeep at home. Your stylist will discuss what options are available for you, & your lifestyle, as well as any maintenance schedules & at-home tips & tricks. All pricing & timing is purely for educational purposes; you must book a consultation before a full appointment, where the time & price will be determined. A deposit is also required at that time; it usually covers the cost of the hair, but that is up to the discretion of the stylist.Hair loc, or cold fusion, use a tiny metal tube bead to attach individual extensions to a small section of hair. These extensions need little maintenance at the salon. This process can be as short as an hour & a half, or up to 3 hours. The cost of hair is generally 200-400. vivid & fantasy colors are available, for highlights or even just one or two pieces
Japanese Thermal StraighteningThermal straighteners are a permanent straightening process that utilize an additional step of flat ironing before the neutralizing process to ensure a stick straight & smooth end result, that infuses shine & eliminates frizz. Retouch is applied to the regrowth area approximately 16 weeks after initial service
Brazilian Smoothing TreatmentTraditional keratin treatments use liquid keratin (the protein hair is made of) along w/ other amino acids to fill in the gaps between the layers of the cuticle (the outermost layer of hair), eliminating frizz & smoothing waves or curls
Color CorrectionColor correction generally describes a color service whose outcome can be unpredictable, due to certain circumstances. Whether that is a home-dye-job gone wrong, or major changes in tonality, lightness or darkness, the results 100% depend on what color is left behind in your hair, & what that color will do. Hence, the uncertainty. In addition to the required consultation prior to booking a color correction appointment, a strand test (a sample of hair, cut from a discreet place on the head) may be necessary to test the health of the hair & give the stylist a better idea of what the hair is capable of. Color correction can also be a transition; depending on how extreme of a change, it may not be possible to achieve desired results in one appointment
