Great Date Night

My husband and I really enjoyed The Empire Room for our recent date night. The food was spectacular. I had a delicious spinach salad that reminded me of our time spend in France, and the gumbo was outstanding. It reminded us of bean with bacon soup, only with sausage and shrimp - such a comfort food! The wine selection was varied and top quality. Most of all, the service and ambiance was just what we were looking for: laid back yet professional and knowledgeable. A great find for a perfect date!
