I went to Bella Pearl for about a year for hair cuts and styling, and had good results. I have referred friends and family for both hair cuts and spa services. Unfortunately the last two times I went my stylist seemed bored with me! After my last cut, I was unhappy with the way my bangs had come out, and she huffily told me that they were the way we had discussed them, and took my cape off. She told me that most of her clients did coloring as well, and it seemed apparent that I wasn't worth her time anymore. Even my favorite part, which is the fabulously straight hair she gives me, was not straightened all the way last time. Also, in the year I went there, I was never offered the "complimentary" wine. I'm very sad that I will have to find a new salon, not a fun prospect.

When I first met Monica, my hair was uneven, and dyed a strange light brown (to cover up a former stylist’s (not at Bella Pearl) accidental orange streaks) from the haircut from hell. She fixed the layers, and put my hair back on the road to recovery. I now love my hair again. Her suggestions are honest and accurate. My cuts and colorings are always awesome. She is simply amazing. The staff is also nice and professional, and the place clean. Go see Monica. She’s my hair hero.

I have seen Kate at Bella Pearl several times. Everytime I leave the salon sure that my hair can't look better and the next time I am wowed again. The combination of her gifted talents and charming personality make the experience one that I look forward to everytime. She listens intently to what I want and helps me understand how my hair will work best. I highly reccomend her all my friends! Kate is truly amazing and leaves me feeling more beautiful everytime!

I had my hair cut and colored by Monica and was completely thrilled. Not only did I get exactly what I asked for for once, but it looked better than I could have imagined. She was fast, friendly, and knew what she was doing, it was obvious the minute I sat down I had nothing to worry about. Thank you, Monica and thank you Bella Pearl!

What a makeover team! Wahoo, both Thomi and Paul are outstanding professionals. They are great at their trade, are charming to talk with and take great care of my family's hair. We have been going to them for nearly 10 years and would follow them anywhere!

Pros: Excellent service

Cons: Can't think of one!

Bella Pearl is a highly professional salon with a relaxing atmosphere. The receptionist is always friendly and remembers my name. My stylist is Anna and she is sensational! My hair never looked better.

I really think that Kelley is a "breath of fresh air" in this industry. She is the first person, in my lifetime that is not only great at what she does, but she is fast, great with color, complimentary, has great suggestions, is very professional, and dresses like a real person rather than the stereo-typical hairdresser! The salon itself is easy to get to, has easy parking, has always been accomodating with my appointments and is quite friendly. The best yet of Portland in my opinion!!

Pros: Fast, great with color.

Cons: Have not found any yet.

I wanted to get my hair done for my friend's wedding, and I had never been to Portland, so I wasn't sure where to go, and was nervous. After reading reviews on this site, I figured Bella Pearl would be a good choice. I walked into the salon and immediately loved the haircut on the cute blonde receptionist. Good sign. Not only did she have great hair, but she was a sweetheart. Sometimes these salons can be really snooty, but this was not the case and I immediately felt comfortable. The salon is in a really cute area - a little further from my hotel than what I wanted, but still walkable. They have some very cool Bumble & Bumble products and it is very stylishly decorated. I was paired up with Anna, and was absolutely impressed. She is very young, highly intelligent, and an absolute sweetheart, as well. The best part is that she's exceptionally talented, fast, and she truly impressed me. I'm sure the other stylists are great as well because you can tell they are held to the highest standards. Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the country, but if I ever get to Portland, I will definitely wait to get my hair done by Anna!

I get my hair, cut and color, done by Kelly. She makes my blonde look very natural and I consistently get great comments. I would definitely recommend Kelly as your new stylist and Bella Pearl as your salon.

I have been to many salons in my past but Bella Pearl is by far the best. Everyone i have met there is nice and friendly. The salon is beautiful! I get my hair done by Kelly, she is an amazing stylist. I always just tell her what i want and I have never been disapointed! I love my hair! Kelly is also a very nice person to talk to and very down to earth. I am very inpressed with this salon and I would highly reccomend it!
