Great food
by reebok122 at Citysearch
Great healthy food at a great price. I eat here at least once a week.
Charbroiled meats and fresh salsas add authentic spice to this Mexicali fast-food chain.

In Short
High tables and a busy open kitchen welcome diners into the spacious, brightly lit black-and-white interior. Just minutes after cashiers take customer orders, fresh-made tacos, burritos and enchiladas (stuffed with steak, chicken or seafood) arrive on the nearby counter. The menu also offers several plates of greens, from typical taco salad to fancier bowls with shrimp or mahi mahi. A stainless-steel bar offers several salsas, plus jalapenos, limes and cilantro for seasoning.
Made me a fan of Mexican

Every bite of their burritos makes my head spin. Baja Fresh makes lunch like a trip to Disney World! If I could have a lifetime of free food from anywhere it would be Baja Fresh!
- Pros: Fresh!, Tastes good!, Quick
- Cons: Not enough locations
Cheap eats.. pure and simple
by rkmase at Citysearch
I liked this little mexi-americano eatery. The food was, as the name implied, fairly fresh. The fish tacos were different, but tasty nevertheless, and everything else was pretty good. I hate taco bell, and this was a great alternative.
- Pros: Tasty
Go Go Gringo Great!!!

One of the great fast food gringo menu'ed Mexican resturants!!! The one on Scholl's Ferry is clean, fast, organized and efficient! Give it a try.
- Pros: Clean, Fast, Efficient
Great burritos
by bouncingmongoose at Citysearch
An Absolutely MUST is to get the Burrito Dos Manos. You get basically TWO regular burritos with the works: cheese, guac, rice, beans, meat, sour cream, for about7.50. You can't beat it. Plus, I frankly think it is one of the best burritos I've ever had, and I LOVE burritos. GET IT NOW!
- Pros: excellent burritos, fast service, call ahead
- Cons: crowded at lunch, not exactly romantic

This place is extremely yummy. Just remember that this is not Mexican food. This is totally Americanized. But it's so darn yummy. The Baja Salsa is fantastic.
- Pros: Can call, pick up, Baja Salsa!, So, so very yummy
- Cons: Crowded during 12-1
Best fast food Mex in PDX
by mikeb12 at Citysearch
If you're short on time and just gotta have a little Mex fix, this is the place! They are fast, friendly, and the place is clean, but best of all the food is possibly the best tasting fast-food Mexican out there.
Overrated Fastfood
by shadow_dragon_ at Citysearch
This is highly overrated for a Mexican restauntant. This should be in the cheap eat column, a little higher on the scale than Taco Bell. The food isn't bad, but it isn't impressive either. I would say is rated by people who haven't eaten real Mexican food. If you want to compare it to "healthy Mexican" restaurants, I would say that it is better than Macheezmo Mouse. I have eaten at probably 50 different Mexican restaurants and this I would be pretty low on the list. The food was a little on the expensive side for what they give you too. Probably one the main reasons this restaurant gets such a high rating is the health factors that they tote. I guess if your looking for healthy Tex-Mex, this is the place to go. If your looking for Mexican, I would look elsewhere.
- Pros: Healthy
- Cons: Salsa Tastes Bad, A little expensive, Crowded
Fresh Mex is Best
by Canundrum at Citysearch
I have eaten at the store in Vancouver off 164th and E. Mill Plain. This is absolutely one of the best places I have eaten. If I had the money I would eat there every day. I love their Fresh Chicken Fajita. It is to die for. I just wish they had a store on the west side of Vancouver.
- Pros: Taste, pricing, Service
- Cons: Ambience, locations
