Great Selection of Collectible Home Furnishings!
by PDXTown33
When near the Montavilla District be sure to stop in and shop at Monticello. You will find an array of very interesting items, including silver, glasware, jewelry, furniture and just about anything collectible. The friendly staff is there to assist you when you need it. Want a break from shopping? Relax at the Mont's cafe located inside the shopping marketplace and get a bite to eat.
- Pros: Endless array of Stuff
Nowhere else I know has a life-sized metal cow for sale!

I love this place. I came one day on a whim thinking I'd be in an out in a half hour; actually, I was there browsing for two hours. Some dealers have a better selection than others, but it seems like there's stuff from every era. There's a HUGE selection of jewelry and lots of garden stuff. They could probably do with more furniture. Overall, the store was well-organized and fun to rummage around in!
- Pros: lots of antique dealers, organized
- Cons: location--it's sort of out of the way
More like a collection of small thrift shops
by doctor_stu
than an antique mall. Neither my wife nor I found any bargains, but for the most part, items are priced at fair retail. The cafe is a nice touch and prices are reasonable.
- Pros: a lot of items
- Cons: mostly thrift store type items rather than antiques
Hold Me Back

This is above and beyond MANY local antique malls. Even the big name "Stars" cannot hold a candle to this place! I never leave without SOMETHING and it's often the place that offers the FAVORITES in my collections.
- Pros: Parking, Cafe, Variety
Neat-o Store!
by hawkpie
Great place to find goodies and have lunch or coffee as well. Great prices, neat odds and ends and inventory is changing often so you do not know what you are going to find from one week to another. Good music while you're looking!
- Pros: Variety, Convenience, Comfortable

Best of the Best

During my 20 years of buying, selling, and collecting antiques, I have yet to find a mall environment that can compare to Monticello. This place is huge, yet it is a warm and comfortable environment. Everyone I have met at Monticello has been friendly and helpful. If they can't answer your question, they will find someone who can. While there, don't forget to check out the "savage garden" area.
- Pros: Variety, Easy to Find, Very Clean

This is the BEST antique mall in town, by far. I love shopping there!!! The layout is great--three straight rows of booths--and the staff is well informed and helpful. It has got to be the most well-organized antique mall I've even seen. Also, there's plenty of parking, free popcorn and a cafe with great coffee and wonderful food. The inventory is varied; you can find anything from primitives to '50s to fine furniture to art and books. As they say, "There's something there for everyone."
