Amazing!

I went into the SE portland location on a couple referrals from friends and coworkers to see Jesse. Although Jesse was really nice, and took the time to really listen to what i was envisioning i wasn't sure if i could get my first tattoo in such a loud and unprofessional environment. So when Jesse was trying to schedule the appointment and said he worked at both locations, i decided to take a chance on the other store. he made an appointment for me 2 weeks out. i went to the beaverton store to look at the artwork before my appointment...Not only was my tattoo design better thank i imagined, but the store was great! Still friendly, but not so loud ! I tell everyone to see Jesse and go to Adorn. I really couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you Jesse for making my first tattoo such a memorable experience, and working with me through those SPICY spots!!!

Fantastic Piercing Experience!!

I've had 3 piercings done there (nose 2xs and my lip) and I'll be going back for more! Lisa Blue is AMAZING! I recommend her to all my friends who want to get pierced!!

AWESOME experience!

I actually heard about Adorn first when I saw someone in the grocery store with a beautifully done hibiscus? on her shoulder. I asked her where she got her work done, and she raved about Adorn. I've been wanting to get some ink done for a while, and did my research and chose Adorn for my first tattoo. I went in on Tuesday afternoon, and brought my idea/drawing from my favorite children's book with me. I talked with Justin? I think about it, and he was able to schedule me in for an appointment with Jesse on Wednesday afternoon.

Jesse took my drawing and script idea and made it a bit larger than the original, but it fits perfectly in the space I wanted it to occupy on my left forearm. He put me at ease pretty much right away, and I had a very minor pain freak-out right before the needle touched my skin because this WAS my first tattoo, and I had built it up to be this awfully painful thing. Then he started the outline on the script. I looked at him with incredulity and said, "That's it?" and the next hour flew by.

I've shown picturess of the tattoo (and the actual tattoo) to friends who have had a LOT of ink done themselves, and they have sung Jesse's praises, and told me that it's a beautiful piece of art. These are people who would be bluntly honest about it if it sucked, so you know it's really good. I'll definitely be back to see Jesse in the future, now that I know it's not at all an unpleasant experience. :)

Even my mom who is not a fan of tattoos loves my fuzzy bunny-bird in the tree. She has to though, since she's the "tree" I come home to. ;)

the Lady at the desk, Jasmine is really nice! She even gave me a free cleaning solution! Justin is an awsome artist! He went over my roses again when I didnt even ask, and gave me a free tshirt ! Farata pierced my tongue. She calmed me down cause i was nervouse, answered my questions, and was very honest. i've been to all the other shops and this one is the best!

Just one thing...

I've gotten three tattoos from Jesse, and he is amazing. The last one I got is huge and I had to stay within a 300 dollar limit, even though he worked on it for 3 hours (at 125$ an hour) he still only charged me the 300. I love all my tattoos, theyre beautiful and I couldnt be more greatfull to him for them...but there was one major downfall...when I was paying at the end, the guy behind the counter asked me point blank "so how much should I put on your card for a tip?" I was shocked. First of all, I ALWAYS tip my tattoo artist. Second, the artists get a big percentage of each tattoo they do as payment...and I REALLY do not appreciate being TOLD that I will tip someone. I think that was rude and classless, and it has never happend to me before. Other then that I would (and always do) recommend Adorn for all tattoos. :)

My first encounter of rudeness was the gal at the front desk. She gave me some serious attitude but against my better judgment I booked with Justin anyway. I didn't meet him until the day he was supposed to do my tattoo, because it would be "a piece of cake" for him to draw up a tattoo that I was going to fall in love with. Needless to say, that didn't happen. I asked him to make some modifications and he passed me off to a different artist! He was so unprofessional, he had the gal at the front desk tell me! It was the first (and hopefully last) time I have left a place of business in tears.

Perfect Experience!

After much research I chose Adorn for my piercing. The fact that it is female owned and they have female piercers was a real plus for me.

Clean and comfortable shop, friendly staff and all health and safety measures were followed. My piercing was smooth and easy and Jo did a great job! Only a tiny bit of pain that lasted for about 1 second.

If I ever get another I will go back in an instant!

DONT MAKE A MISTAKE-GO TO ADORN!

Adorn is awesome, I got my only two tattoos there. When I went in for my first one I brought a two pictures of what I wanted and explained what aspect of each picture I wanted included in the tattoo. My tattoo artist was Jesse, and he is super chill! When I put down the deposit and came back, he had created the perfect combination of the two pictures. He suggested the tattoo be placed at a slight angle and after explaining why, I agreed he had an excellent point. He also suggested placing my tattoo slightly lower, but I decided against it. He was very easy going and made the experience fun. My only regret was that I did not listen to his advice and place my tattoo a little lower, he obviously knows what hes talking about! I went back to Jesse and got my second tattoo, this time I just described to him what I wanted and he came up with another perfect interpretation... My quotes were accurate both times, and it was easy to make an appointment. The people on the phone were also very patient while giving me directions. love adorn love Jesse I recommend them to everyone!

FIRST TATTOO

This was my first tattoo to be done and they made me feel very comfortable and i didnt worry about anything im so glad i went there and i will defiantly be back soon to get more tats
