Best Pap----seriously!
by geminine
I just had my annual with Dr. Anderson, and it was actually a good experience. The atmosphere is really relaxing at her office. The table was nice and warm and she played soothing music. She has a very gentle touch--much appreciated. She was also thorough in answering my questions and did not rush during the exam. The receptionist was also very helpful in finding out if insurance would cover my visit. Much better than previous experiences and I will definitely go back!
- Pros: flexible schedule, thorough, great ambiance
- Cons: construction going on outside
Laid-back spa!
by blackdog35
Venus Envy is the most accepting, laid-back spa I have ever visited. I have been receiving acupuncture from Angela for nearly 3 years and it has been wonderful. She always listens, never judges you based on your medical issues, is extremely knowledgeable, meanwhile respecting typical western medical approaches. I would suggest to anyone going through chemotherapy to see Angela for acupuncture; it really works well for combating nausea. I have also had therapeutic massage from her and she's great.
- Pros: Women owned, Nonjudgemental staff
- Cons: Small space

Best pregnancy massage
by jen1brock
The BEST pregnancy massage EVER. Dont go through your pregnancy without these massages. Ask for Cecily. She is amazing and really helped me deal with all my aches and pains throughout my pregnancy. I had major sciatic pain that started in my lower back and radiated down my leg. Cecily not only could ease the pain she gave me great techniques to use at home to address the pain. The best part was how she could work on the swelling I had in my feet. I cant imagine not having these massages throughout my pregnancy. I just had my baby 4 days ago but I had a massage with Cecily 3 days before that. Having a massage a couple of days before I went into labor really helped with all the tension, pain and aches that I was dealing with. I cant wait and start on my postpartum massages!
Pregnancy Massage:best part of being pregnant
by marlaellis
I received a gift certificate for my birthday for a pregnancy massage at Venus Envy. What a treat!! I have had many massages before, both pregnancy and non pregnancy, but 'hands down', Cecily is the best massage therapist I have ever had. Her training in prenatal massage is evident with the techniques and positions and pillows she uses. I leave the session relaxed, aches relieved and looking forward to the next appointment. She also takes many insurance carriers. During my last trimester, she has been a lifesaver, working out kinks in my back and legs, it is literally the best part of being pregnant.
Sure fire neck cure!

Thank you Angela Tisci, I had the best birthday of my life this year and Venus Envy helped make that possible. I made an appointment for anything and was recommended the Gaea package of half acupuncture and half massage. This treatment had immediate results and I booked another appoinment for a few days later (on my birthday) for a one hour massage and another acupuncture treatment. The massage therapist, Cecily really got into the tight spots quick and the tension in my body was subsiding within minutes of starting the massage. Afterward I went in to my acupuncture treatment for another hour of bliss. This treatment really got things in my neck. upper back, and shoulder back where they wanted to be. I learned a little more about my body through acupuncture and the wise words of the women at Venus Envy.
- Pros: professional, casual, insurance
- Cons: few practitioners, off main street, open 5 days
The Best
by petegrey
I have been receiving massage regularly from Cecily at Venus Envy for 2+ years. I had been to many other practictioners previously and she is undeniably the best. The facility has great atmosphere & ambience & the entire staff is very friendly. I recommend to anyone looking for massage or spa treatment.
- Pros: knowledgeable, peaceful
Cuping and More
by esaiers
I've been going to Venus Envy for at least 3 years, I sometimes will try other spas, but always come back to the best ... Venus Envy! Most of my experience has been with Angela, the massage and acupuncture therapist and by far she is the best in town. The massage is amazing, I always feel 100% better after leaving.
However the best therapy I have received is CUPPING. I have compartment syndrome and I have suffered for years with chronic shin pain, doctors said the only thing that would help is surgery. I met with Angela and after one session of cupping my symptoms were gone, that was 8 months ago.Rather than undergo a major surgery, I now have the opportunity to take care of this in a non-evasive way, which allows me to continue participating in the sports I love.
- Pros: friendly, accepts insurance, flexible
