Great Dental Experience. I haven't had care in a number of years and was seeking a new dentist. My neighbor suggested Dr. Belusko at Westover Dental. They immediately accommodated me. I thought their prices were fair and I like their emphasis on prevention. I was referred for an implant, placed by an oral surgeon who did a wonderful job. Dr. Belusko put on my new crown on the implant today-it works! It's hard to tell which tooth is the implant. Thank you Dr. Belusko.…
Friendly and educational - maybe a little too wired.
I'm young, fairly healthy, and don't have too many dental issues - aside from those you'd expect from someone who did a half-ass job brushing his teeth most of his life.
I've only been to the clinic 3 times, but I've left there happy every time. Well, maybe not happy, because they generally tell me I'm not doing a good enough job flossing. Which I'm probably not.
I've worked exclusively with Dr. Adams and I'm a big fan. She's borderline manic, but she does great work. She's terrific at explaining everything she's doing and why she's doing it. They have a camera that can show you the play by play - it's okay to watch but personally I like zoning out, which is easy to do because they give you shades to wear.
I don't know too much about dentistry, but I've generally gone along with whatever they want to do because it seems reasonable. They make sure to check and see if insurance covers stuff before they start doing it and I haven't really had any problems (and I don't have millionaire insurance).
I recommend this place to all my friends who are looking for a new dentist.…
dissatisfaction.
When I visited this clinic I wanted a cleaning; I had no tooth pain and no broken teeth. After the good dentist put a laser pointer in my mouth and determined that I needed two cavities filled, I
have had persistent tooth sensitivity in the teeth he worked on. I also have a broken front incisor from the night guard which fits too tightly despite having been sized twice. This is especially frustrating since I asked specifically if it would be safe for my bonded incisor. He assured me that it was necessary to prevent damage to my teeth and that it would not cause any problems.
I felt that the staff was friendly and my dislike of the practice is not a reflection of their service. I believe that unnecessary and unwise procedures were completed on me for the purpose of generating revenue. I hope that this is not the case and that I am the only dissatisfied patient of this practice.
At least I avoided a needless panorex xray and the associated charges. If you do go to this clinic avoid the panorex xray unless you are having symptoms that really require it.…
I love going to the dentist.... now:).
I had great anxiety about going to the dentist... i had not been in years. I finally went & made an appointment because my tooth was really hurting.
Once i went in for my appointment, from the time that i just walked into the office, my anxiety started to disappear. The girl at the front desk really showed she cared and understood what i was going through. They listened to my fears & apprehensions. They did not rush at all. The doctor took his time to explain the options and the treatment that i needed. Needless to say i received the treatment and am now out of pain and they are my dental office for life.
Its such a relief not having to fear taking care of my smile. Thank you westover dental!!!…
1800 dollars for a simple denture reline. NO kidding. they charged my brother, a disabled veteran one thousand, eight hundred dollars for a denture reline. There is no excuse. I'd give this place negative stars if I could. Buyer beware.
Like a whole new Woman. I totally agree. I am 33 years old and I have always been uncomfortable with my smile. My teeth are straight but really small and spaced out, you know gaps. Anyway, I read your review and scheduled a consult with Dr. Adams. She explained how she could help and gave me multiple options. The thing that impressed me the most was that she took impressions of my mouth and took some measurements of my face. No charge! She invited me back one week later to see the models. She had transformed my teeth, once I saw what my teeth could look like i was SOLD. I just got my veneers on 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. My husband teases me that I have developed an uncontrollable smile.…
Excellent Customer Service, Friendly Environment. I love Dr. Belusko and the Westover Dental team. I have been seeing Dr. "B" for the past 15 years and I always look forward to my appointments. I work in the health care field and I am very conscious of sterility, and I have ALWAYS been extremely impressed with the staffs attention to detail and keeping things clean. I have recently had 3 implants placed and I am very pleased with the results. I feel like I have my teeth back...not to mention the complimentary whitening trays, nothing wrong with feeling a little younger. Thanks for your commitment to improving my teeth.…
Rudest Staff ever. I went to westover dental to have a wisdom tooth removed. Upon walking into this office, I wasn't even greeted by the front office staff. When I walked up to the window she seemed more annoyed I was there. I sat down and waited for someone to pull me back. After they were finished I was practically pushed out the door. They told me to call for follow up. No appointment set and never got a phone call. Again I was ignored by the front office staff. I also noticed the front office gal going back and forth from the back to help and then sitting at the front. Big OSHA violation.…
do not go here!. The office itself is dingy and cramped. You can hear other patients next to you because there is only a small partition separating you from them. The first thing recommended (as soon as my exam began) was the use of their whitening products...no doubt a tactic to increase sales for the office. Even though I was being seen for a routine cleaning, several procedures were unnecessarily painful. Ive never been seen for a cleaning that involved pain at a dentist before. When my exam was nearly done, I was told, in a very unclear manner, that several procedures on 6 of my teeth needed attention. I think I'll get a second opinion since I see a dentist every 6 months and this is the first warning of any kind I've received concerning the teeth in question. Furthermore, the doctor, which i normally imagine as being a person of integrity, was wearing worn jeans, old tennis shoes, and smelled bad.…
Westover Dental Clinic. Dr. Adams kept me will informed about my my dental health and took the time to get my mouth as healthy as possible. It is always a preasure to see her and I appreciate her knowledge and the fact that she shares it with me. I have been using my bleach trays and MI paste everyday as well as using xylitol mints (Dr. recommended) after each meal. Westover dental clinic is the place for me. All in all, I was so pleased I wanted to share this and inspire others to know, going to the dentist does not have to be as bad as well, going to the dentist!…
