It's so beautiful. The Rose Garden is so pretty. I have never seen so many roses before. So many different colors and varieties. I will definately come back when I am in town to the garden..it's definately one of a kind. Simply gorgeous.

The oldest rose garden in the country attracts visitors for its colorful variety of flowers.. In Short
Located in Washington Park, this lush garden features five acres of climbers, hybrid teas, grandifloras, floribundas, landscape roses and miniatures. More than 8,000 rose bushes are on display, planted in rows to allow up-close inspection. Every year, mostly during Rose Festival, thousands of visitors flock to Portland's original Rose Garden to see, smell and admire the flowers. The view of the city and Mt. Hood on clear days is spectacular.

Peace & Beauty. This is an amazing collection of a beautiful, colorful roses set in a peaceful, quiet park right above the city.

a place to play. I spend hours here with my grandchild, smelling roses, collecting fallen petels, dancing on the fountain and stage. There is so much to do on a sunny day with an imaginative child and all those lovely flowers!

Must-do for visitors. When the roses are in bloom, this is the place to take out-of-towners. With the view of the city and the hundreds of amazing, perfect roses, it's one of the highlights of the city. And it's free.

FABULOUS!. Our Rose Gardens have been the pride and joy of Portland for a hundred years with good reason. They are so stunning especially with the view of the city from the outlook points. Acouple more restrooms would be nice though.

June-July just stunning. I think the Rose Test Gardens are absolutely beautiful. During the peak season of June & July I can't imagine taking my girlfriend for a walk anywhere else. Had we not gotten engaged early in the year, this was my first choice as the spot to do it.

Truly overwhelming and a place I bring all my summer visitors to visit.

Bar none, the best rose garden in the country.
