My husband and I love shopping at Heaven & Earth for gifts. We visit them regularly after our Sunday brunch on Hawthorne. There is always something unique and refreshing. We particular enjoy the artwork made by local artists. Their plants are so healthy and beautiful. We always feel welcome at Heaven & Earth.
Pros: Great Selections, Reasonable Price, Friendly Staff

I was treated VERY rudely by a clerk here and will not go back, despite living nearby and shopping in these blocks frequently. Many items looked like WalMart items artfully arranged with a higher price tag. When I did spot something for a gift (under $5) and wanted to get my son's opinion I asked to show it to him from the doorway while he sat in the car. I was the only customer in the store but the clerk refused even to stand with me to show him from the doorway. She clearly believed I was going to steal the item! Talk about snobbish, rude and insulting! Get the attitude off Hawthorne!
Pros: Fun neighborhood
Cons: rude clerk, snobbish, overpriced

Wonderful selection, and the best owner. Whenever I am looking for a gift I always go to Heaven and Earth, and I'm never disappointed.

Heaven and Earth, at 32nd and Hawthorne, is a friendly, yet exotic experience. Enjoy the aroma of healthy plants, the soft textures of fine stones, the sound of water and small chimes, and the array of pottery, jewlery and other accessories. Your awakening to beautiful and humorous works by local artists and artisans make a visit to Heaven and Earth a calming moment in the shopper's day. Heaven & Earth Home & Garden is a unique store where you find everything what your Home & Garden loving heart desires. The owner is very friendly and helpful and if she doesn't have it in the store she will get it for you.
Pros: unique decor, good atmosphere, friendly
