Brian was supposed to take care of my two kittens last October. I gave him detailed instructions and paid him for twice daily visits. I came home to find the waste from the litter boxes left in an open garbage bag instead of the covered waste bin that I had specifically pointed out to him. Furthermore, the litter boxes were full of urine clumps and feces, suggesting that he had *not* made a visit that morning, which I got charged for. Other things which seemed to be common sense apparently needed to be spelled out to him - I found wet food left out at room temperature for God knows how long, and the dry food bowls were overflowing (hello, you don't need to keep dumping dry food into the bowls if the cats haven't eaten it all). I emailed him to let him know how disappointed I was with the quality of care and service, and he never bothered to write back to explain or apologize. I have warned all my friends against using P.U.P.S. and if I had known that they had a Portland Citysearch page I would have written a review earlier.
Pros: None.
Cons: Poor communication and service.

Brian is an outstanding individual and caretaker for my boys. He is always accomodating, helpful, pleasant and genuine in his care for animals. I have used Brian's services for 3 years and hope he never leaves the Portland area!

We called PUPS to help with taking care of our Border Collie mix when we had long days. Brian took a very thourough inventory of what Chaz likes/dislikes, toys, feeding, etc. We paid for a visit that included feeding and a walk. Brian and Chaz had a grat time so he played with him enought that he was a tired pup and he always leaves notes about his visit. Very professional/knowledgeable and loves pets!
