Purely Amazing Lebanese Restaurant!!!
by Suzanne4879
I went out a couple of days ago with my husband and young daughter for dinner at Abu Rasheed. I must say that from beginning to end, the experience was quite pleasant. The servers are very upbeat and helpful in explaining what each dish is. We ordered the hummus, salad, and falafel as appetizers. All three were freshly prepared. The Hummus was flavorful and is some of the best I have ever tasted. My husband and daughter loved the falafel- my daughter kept saying they were "yummy." Considering my child is a picky eater- I was quite impressed. The appetizers were so plentiful that we were stuffed even before the main course arrived. We had shish kabobs, rice, spinach and meat pies. The spices on the shish kabobs were just perfect and the rice was flavorful. The waitress was very attentive to us the whole time and they made us feel comfortable even when my daughter was getting rowdy. That's always a big plus! All in all- we had no complaints and will definitely be returning soon. I can honestly say that Abu Raheed has made it into my "top five" list of best Middle Eastern restaurants!! Two thumbs way up!!

Some of the Best Food Ive ever experienced!
by ashley551
I went into Abu Rasheed today and ordered the Sahara Special! It was delicious, the chicken was amazing and seriously who ever says anything different has no idea what real shawarma or what real lebanese food is...because this place was great. The food was terrific and the waitress was the type that you hope to get when going to a restaurant. She was extremely helpful and was able to answer all our questions about the food. I love this place and will go back for sure.
- Pros: Great food and Service!
- Cons: parking

I went to the resturant today and it was the worst food that i have ever had. i had the chicken sharwama. first its not even sharwama. it was over priced nine dollars for food that tasted horrible. the serivce wasnt very good the employees kept on staring at us. Probably because they could tell that we didn't like it.

Absolutely Delicious
by tofu711
I came in with a group of 8 people. The restaurant was very accommodating. The servers were happy to serve, and offered to put drinks on the house when they made a mistake. The food was incredible. We had the Abu Rasheed special with: hummus, tabbouleh, baba ganooj, falafel, zaytoun & kabees, waraq enab, labneh, jebneh baydah, kafta kabab, shish kabab, shish tawook, tomatoes, onion salad, rice, and pita bread. All of that serves 4 for 60 bucks. Well worth it. Every morsel was absolutely delicious. The only mediocre dish was the kafta kabab, which was a little dry. Everything else was exquisite.
- Pros: Food and Service
- Cons: Kafta Kabob
Very Tasty!!

I came into Abu Rasheed yesterday based on all of the wonderful reviews people had already written, and I just wanted to let everyone know... that the excellent reviews are TRUE! I came in because I wanted to see for myself what everyone was raving about and now I know. The food was excellen! I ordered the House special which was a good choice because it was a variety plate of everything. It also came with a large salad, which i later found out that they make and sell their own dressing for!!! I was very impressed. Two thumbs way up!
I also wanted to note that my waitress was extremely nice and made me feel very welcome.
- Pros: Great food great service
- Cons: none that i can think of
This place has gone downhill
by Sampanam
Service is fast and friendly, but the food has gone downhill. Both of us ordered a Sahara Salad mixed plate w/chicken. Mostly the plate was OK, but the chicken was the shredded boiled kind you get in cheap tacos. And the plate was overpriced for $9.
- Pros: Fast service
- Cons: Blah food

I tried Abu Rasheed for my first time today and i was so impressed with how wonderful everything tasted!! I ordered the full mazza which came with many many dishes of wonderful different things ( i especially loved the baba ganooj and the hummus). I also ordered the dinner plate of chicken shwarma. Everything had so much flavor and the service was excellent! They were very attentive and extremly nice. Great atmosphere, good music and all around wonderful little restaurant!
- Pros: everything
- Cons: little parking
Outstanding staff, great for little kids
by pdxcoder
We went to Abu Rasheed primarily on the recommendation of Citysearch, and we took our 2 year old daughter with us. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the staff were wonderful with our little girl. She had a great time there even though we just ate dinner. When we were leaving she asked if we could come back. That's a killer recommendation from a 2 year old. The fact that she was having a good time meant we ate a great meal in peace, too. They don't serve alcohol, but they have a mean coffee, which more than makes up for it. I highly recommend this place: we'll be back for sure!
- Pros: Great service, great food, bright natural light, good value
- Cons: None
Best Lebanese Food I've ever had!!!!
by jouh77
I went to Abu Rasheed Lebanese Restaurant last week with a group of 12 people and they treated us like royalty! The food was great, we ordered the Abu Rasheed special, a family-style meal that filled the table with delicious appetizers and a generous portion of BBQ shish kebab beef and garlicky chicken kebab. The lamb shank dish was to die for! The service was great, they kept the freshly baked bread comming and were very attentive. They don't serve alcohol, but really who needs beer or wine to enjoy such a wonderful feast? I can't compliment them enough on what a great job they did! Oh, and the baklava was an added treat. It was so fresh and refreshing.
P.S. I tried the chicken shawarma dish at a previous visit, and I think it's delicious...one of my favorites actually. I highly recommend it!
- Pros: great food...great service.
- Cons: no parking
