Just stepping into The Loft I felt my shoulders relax and my stress lighten. All sense are treated to a luxurious pampering - beautiful setting, wonderful smells, pure mineral water, soothing music and exquisite tactile treatments. I loved the warm foot refloxology, and adding the enhancement of the scalp massage just extended the expereince. I will be back...

I recommend a massage here. I've been to 12 different spas in Portland and Vancouver and I believe Angela is the best when you want a relaxing massage. Angela has a good technique and she is an all around very knowledgeable person. She has strong fluid movements and I like her technique for pouring oil. She has an excellent massage table; instead of being solid it is fluid like a waterbed. I think it helps the massage. What I would improve: The bowl for washing feet is a little small and not comfortable. When I sat down for the foot washing it was on a bench and my back was to a concrete wall. For the foot washing Aequis probably did the best job but for the massage I would recommend Angela at The Loft.

I've been lucky enough to experience many spas around town but not until experiencing The Loft did I realize I've found Portland's best. The environment alone is enough to put you into sheer bliss. Angela's relaxing, gentle presence puts you immediately at ease, beginning the beautifully serene and lasting spa treatment you're about to receive. The Loft is unique because when you're there, you are the only one (other than Angela of course) so all the personalized and customized attention is on you; disrutpions are nonexistent -- it feels like being wisked away to another world. Her expertise with her services are obvious, offering wonderful and profound mental and physical results. If you want to be treated right, you want to be at The Loft.

i must say that yesterday was one of the greatest days ever! my skin hasnt looked this good since i was probably 8 years old. the atmosphere was was absolutely gorgeous and angela has such a gift for maing you feel so nurtured. her hands felt like velvet across my skin and the smells emanating from the surroundings were intoxicating without being overbearing. it was such a wonderful experience, i am sure to keep going back for more.

I head to The Loft for a mini holiday. I find a bit of heaven when I'm at The Loft. Angela's touch is just what is needed for my body and mind. The asmosphere is soothing. I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. I highly recommend it.

Angela is a devine creature that becomes in tune with your needs the moment you walk into The Loft. This truely is an escape. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to treat themselves to a hour of heaven.

I had never had a hot stone massage before visiting The Loft, and must say it was incredible. The relaxing atmosphere and creative decor was great, and the quality of massage was very good. I would recommend The Loft to everyone and anyone who wants a truly theraputic massage. I plan to come back as much as possible.

A place of this caliber has been long desired. The Loft is an experience no one should miss. This sanctuary truly turns you into an "Eleven"... that's a "Ten without a head or body ache", upon the completion of one's personalized care. My family, friends and I all concur that anyone's visit to The Loft will be repeated time after time. Body and head massages, aromatherapy, hot stone treatments, facials, the water and garden, and oh yes - the art and music, will make you soar and float out of the santuary relaxed, with a devine urning to stay - wanting to never leave... and a sincere promise to treat yourself over and over again to The Loft's entres. Fair warning to all... these visits can possibly become an obsession, creating one's eternal bliss!

Pros: incredible ambience, destressed completely, exquistly treated
