Consistently awesome hair cuts!!!

I have been having Trish cut my hair for well over a year now, which for me is unheard of. I used to be a hair-dresser/salon-hopper! Trish (and Blu) put an end to my hopping!

Since the first time Trish cut my hair, she has consistently given me the BEST HAIRCUTS EVER. People are always asking me where I get my hair done. Trish LISTENS and somehow manages to figure out the idea I have in my head and then makes it happen. She is AWESOME! I have referred her to three of my close friends. In fact, one of them is getting married and Trish is doing her hair!

If you are sick of so-so (or downright BAD) haircuts, then you need to stop into Blu. The staff is very considerate, always willing to help, and have a great sense of humor! I highly recommend this salon and Trish!

P.S. Thank you Trish for all of the great cuts! Can?t wait to come back again soon! Sorry this review is LONG overdue. :o)

Tasia is the best

Tasia has been doing my hair for about a year and she always pays very close attention to my style, concerns, and offers up new suggestions that she thinks would look and feel good on me. I have had some troubles with consistency at other salons in the past, but that is no issue with her - she always remembers what we did on the last cut. I highly recommend her to people looking for a regular stylist.

Honest Analysis, First Impressions Matter

I just can't stop the compliments from coming, Lauren must have done a little more than SOMETHING right.

Plus, how awesome is it to leave as if you've just met over coffee and discussed the workings of the universe- and wow, now your hair is suddenly voluptuous and fresh and beautiful.

Haircut + Hair Dresser + Saloon Atmosphere = Great experience.

No more nervous hair-cutting experiences for me!

I am usually quite nervous to get my hair cut, as I have had several bad experiences in the past. This time it was different. Lauren took the time to hear what I wanted done. There were no pretentions or forced opinions. For once, I finally got what I wanted in a hairstyle!

Loved my hair do!

My friend and I went to Blu's ladies night for a $10 shampoo, conditioning mask and hair style. Lauren was our stylist, and she was amazing! She is super adorable, and knows her stuff. My hair felt so healthy, and my style lasted all week. She even helped my friend learn how to do her new style at home. We also received a goodie bag of free product. So grab a friend, give Blu a call, and sign up for ladies night. You will be hooked!

Great atmosphere, great hair

Not only did my hair receive a much needed deep conditioning, I was given such helpful advice on new easy things I could do for my hair to mix it up. My experience with this salon went far beyond hair. I walked into a friendly environment and was offered coffee by my hair dresser, Lauren. It felt like I was just having a chat with an old friend.

Nice, relaxing Salon

Within a very short time, Lauren knew exactly what my head and hair needed. She gently assessed what would look best on me, treated me very well and I left with the the right hair! Got lots of compliments for it, too.

I will be back for sure and highly recommend Lauren!

Happy with Blu

I really enjoyed my stylist, I felt like she really listened to me about what I was wanting in a hair cut. I was very happy with my cut and I agree with other reviewers that the free trims for your bangs are a great perk. I understand other reviewers complaints about color and products being pushed somewhat heavily. I have purchased products several times now and am hoping that it will die down now that my arsenal is complete! Overall, I am very happy with the salon and will be a continued customer!

So sweet!

I had my hair cut by Lauren and not only is she sweet as can be but she made my hair look cute, too, which isn't a claim that many stylists have been able to make. Her flexibility with hours makes it so easy to schedule, too!

Happy with service and hair!

I had a great experience with Lauren, who is new to Portland. I think she did a great job envisioning just what I wanted for a big change. I was very happy with her and with the salon. The price was a little steep (they really push the products) but does include a free trim, so that makes up for a lot. I will absolutely be back.
