When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we received several recommendations and flyers for various photographers. Although there were many qualified and talented photographers, Artful Images' website stood out to me. We were not interested in just pretty photos, we wanted pictures we could hang up that would look like art. Artful Images offered that to us with different finishes, creative angles and wonderful symmetry. Artful Images were not the cheapest photographers, but the quality is worth it and it was one of the wedding expenditures that we will be able to enjoy forever. Shelley was wonderful to work with and very creative with the photos shots. She was thinking of those shots throughout our wedding night and in turn, we have so many different backgrounds to our wide arrange of photos. She absolutely made the most of the time at the event and we had a hard time choosing our final photos. In addition, the final photos and album are of very high quality. I would highly recommend anyone to use Artful Images for their wedding. Not one complaint.

Pros: very creative photos, high quality, variety of finishes and backgrounds

Cons: can be expensive depending on your package

I have just viewed my daughter's wedding photographs. They are awesome!!! I never dreamed that the photographs would be this good. You really were able to capture the joy of the celebration in each and every photo. We are very excited to see them after they are printed and put together in the book and album. We are very fortunate to have found you. Your customer service, willingness to meet with us, and interest in the wishes of the bride and groom were true and sincere. Anyone who uses Artful Images will not be disapointed.

Phill and I wondered how the magical feel of our wedding day could ever be captured, but Shelley and Michael truly accomplished it. They may be a little less formal than some photographers, but we wanted something much more unique and artistic than the traditional posed portraits, and these guys gave us all that and more, creating beautiful imagery that now decorates our walls. The works of art they created will be cherished by many people for generations to come. They have a great system with all digital photography, allowing them to take hundreds and hundreds of shots, and you can purchase all the negatives on a high resolution cd.

Pros: artistic eye, all digital equipment, very accommodating

Cons: hard to find studio

Actually, "very happy" doesn't really cover it. The pictures make the wedding actually seem like more fun than it was, and it was a lot of fun. Micheal's sense of humor kept me sane throughout the pre-ceremony time when family was driving me nuts. The pictures themselves were just gorgeous!

I never thought I'd be giving a review of wedding pictures, but it's like I told Shellie and Mike when we first got to see the images, some of the photographs are like Art pieces. They're something we might buy to hang on the wall even if they weren't our wedding pictures. I have no idea how he covered all that ground to get such varied shots. And everyone looks happy, delighted in fact. They weren't the least expensive of the photographers we considered, but in the end they were a bargain. Want excellent shots? Go there.

They were the best! We told Michael and Shelley that one of the biggest items to our wedding was to make sure Lawson's grandfather, who was very ill and pretty much immobile, was featured in as many shots as possible and they delivered all the way. They got him from so many angles and none of it looked set up or cutsey, plus they covered everything else that went on that day. We lost granddad soon afterwards, but we have so many happy pictures. Thank you.

It's been nearly a year since the wedding and we still check out the pics at least once a week and marvel at how thoroughly Shelly got it all. It seems like anything cute or meaningful happened, she was right there to nail it. Being able to change the package to get the high resolution "negative" disk was a real plus too. We're still sooo happy!

Pros: very friendly, imaginative, good value
