You know those businesses that just don't seem like they're making much of an effort. Well, sadly Pizza A Go Go is one of them. I like the pizza, really I do. But the extremely limited delivery area (if you're in walking distance they'll deliver) is pretty pointless. So if you're in the neighborhood stop by for a good pie. Otherwise, don't bother.

I always feel kind of bad when I give a poor review... but I'm just not a big fan of their pizza. I had a simple cheese pizza delivered and was quite disappointed. While the pizza was a good size, the taste was bland and the description word that comes to mind is "cardboard." I like a good thin crust as much as the next person, but my idea of a thin crust is that it should have a little crisp to it. This crust seemed undercooked or either 3 days old. There wasn't much sauce (did they forget that part?) and the cheese was flavorless. Then there's the delivery guy... first of all it was a guy... not a sassy Go Go Girl on rollerskates. (ha ha)
Cons: 23.00 for a bad pizza

I rode my bike past Pizza a Go Go about a hundred times and always thought of trying it out, but never really got around to it. A friend recommended it on our traditional pizza night and we're sold. It's our new spot. Try the Che Che with it's Chipotle sauce and caramelized onions. Great pie, great vibe and Pabst on tap. What more do you want?
Pros: The pizza and service
Cons: No go-go dancers (it is pizza a "go go" right?)

I randomly stopped in Pizza A Go Go a few days ago when I drove by hungry for something quick. I stopped in for a slice and a salad and was pleasantly surprised with the food. I'm a pizza snob and I found the slice of sausage and veggie pizza on of the best tasting I've had in town. Also, the guy at the counter was super friendly. I liked the place so much, I picked up a t-shirt and I shall return next time I'm looking to eat some pizza.

I went to Pizza a go go and thought I'd died and gone to pizza heaven. Not only did the place have a groovy vibe and nice blend of funk and style but the pizza was great. Delicious thin crust that stayed crisp on the bottom, completely foldable and with a good array of toppings. My friend who is Vegan was well served by the delicious vegan slice that is always available. I also had a great ceaser salad and a fresh organic beer on tap, cold and good. It's in the now groovy Williams Ave corridor and is a hidden gem in Portland, or so I think. THanks
Pros: Good food, great vibe, nice beer, good service.

The pizza crust was cardboard-like, and overall the pie lacked any characteristics to justify the price (18 bucks for a pepporoni). Even if it were 10 bucks, I'd go elswhere. I was very dissappointed, as this joint is in my 'hood and I now know I'll have to go elswhere to get a good pie-
