I stumbled into this store on one of my rare shopping trips to Portland. It was very busy. The salespeople seemed to have a lot of regulars that they were helping but I wasn't ignored or overlooked in the slightest. They took the time to explain the store concept which I would never have known. They make all of the jewelry themselves, carry boots, and a local clothing designer...can't remember her name. Then they gave me champagne. I don't think I've ever felt so warmly welcomed into a store. I found a lovely vintage locket necklace that I'm sure I'll pass down to my daughter one day.

Pros: warmth of service & great designwork

Cons: parking was challenging

I love EmilyJane. I rarely can afford to buy since I'm a student but occasionally treat myself. No matter though. The staff always encourage me to linger. Try anything on you like they say. They don't hover or treat me like some of the stores the area...as if I'm not worth acknowledging since I don't look the part of a shopaholic. I go for the experience. As I go to a gallery for the experience. Perhaps I'll layaway something that I really cannot afford. But I know I'll cherish it. This is the shop of shops. I'd like to thank the staff for always making me feel welcome.

I wandered into this store expecting to be uninspired. Handmade jewelry...how good could it be with all of the wonderful other boutiques in pdx. I was blown away. The jewelry is simply divine. But the service was shocking. I was greeted with champagne and a brief introduction about the store and then my purchases were wrapped and delivered to me while I ate lunch with my husband at the restaurant next door. No wonder they've been around so long, I don't know what took me so long to get there.

I love Emily Jane. I am an Emily Jane addict. I know many other Emily Jane addicts. This place is and always has been great. They treat me great & always have new things.

I've found the best little store! I was wondering around the neighborhood and came across this tiny boutique where the jewelry is made by the women who work there. I met the owner, emily jane, and bought (ha ha) 5 necklaces. While it isn't cheap, the work is amazing and very unique. My favorite piece is the other woman necklace! I feel like a princess. I'll be back for more. ps. thanks for the champagne

I visited this store for the first time this weekend. The jewelry is unusual and fun. The space warm and cozy and the help was very on the ball. I described that I was looking for jewelry for an upcoming event and told the woman about my dress and she suggested that she custom design a necklace for me. I haven't seen the necklace yet but I really enjoyed my first visit.

WOW, I just discovered the best place in Portland. These girls design and make the coolest jewelry. As soon as I walked in they introduced me to the store and offered me champagne. Then I browsed through their little drawers of treasures and found the perfect earrins for my mother's birthday (she is very hard to buy for!). I will definitely be back for myself when I save up a little money for my "dream piece".

this store is wonderful. i love the girls that work there and their designs are amazing although i had them design a special piece just for me. today i wore my new necklace and was stopped twice on the street from people who wanted to know where i got it.

I finally found this store after hearing so much about and reading such great reviews online. I was worried that it couldn't live up to the hype and my jewelry standards since I am a true jewelry fiend. Emily Jane is amazing! She is so nice and helpful and does such amazing work. I bought two one of a kind necklaces that I think I'll be wearing for the rest of my life!

I love this place! Maybe it's the amazing jewelry that they design. Or maybe it's the fabulous girly boudoir atmosphere with super cushy furniture and lots of fun girl talk. It might be the champagne. I think it's the whole experience. I always leave feeling happier!
