Wonderful and creative food / drinks. My only complaint has been they are not open on Mondays. Everything has been wonderful when we've went. Great/inexpensive appitizers.

Great Music, Friendly Servers and Bartender

by jcrawford012

Voodoo Lounge is a very unique, fun and inventive spot with cool staff. I always have a good time here. I love the outside patio and of course the music.

Groov'en Place

by samdon

My friends and I put Voodoo on the top of our night out places to go. It's the most unique spot in town. We dig the bowl drinks and we love the fact that we don't need to be on a dance floor to dance. We find ourselves dancing anywhere we are... everybody does it and it is the coolest! Voodoo has the fastest bartenders in town and the music is right on!! The patio is cool too and if you want to switch up the night you can just step over to the Ohm for a little underground club feel.

VIP Room Service Sucks

by pdxmh

9 of us booked a VIP room for the night at $200. This is not money well spent....first of all the room isn't really private. Even though they post your name by the door and close the curtains, that doesn't stop people from coming into the room in a constant stream. For $200, I expected someone would be monitoring the entrance. We were told we'd have a dedicated server for the evening. Not true. We rarely saw her. When I had to go hunt her down, I was told that she was also serving the main club. We got there around 9:30pm and finally left around 11:00pm...we were so disgusted with the place. We will NEVER return there for the club (why would anyone want to stand in line to get into THAT place?) or a VIP room rental. Save your money for something else! This place is lousy.

Lush and plush meets sexy swamp in this New Orleans-influenced establishment.

In Short
Velvety soft couches and chairs, gold mirrors with metallic Mardi Gras beads and moody candlelight provide a sensual atmosphere. Sink into a beanbag chair against the wall-to-wall shag carpet in the red room or shake your booty to the DJ on the patio. Po'boys and oyster shooters share the bill with Voodoo sticky chicken and catfish. Wash it down with a martini or the specialty Devil's Tale served over dry ice in a cast-iron cauldron.

"The Velvet Rope" Scene

by mssocialite

Voodoo Lounge and Ohm Nightclub recently combined together several months back and continue to be the hottest spot in town. I recently rented out one of their VIP Rooms for my friends b-day and we had our own VIP Concierge to give us our every need! From the room decorations, bottle of champagne upon arrival, to our limo! I was even told they can get us anything we want as long as it's legal. I've come to Voodoo on a continous basis and I have always had a great time. The waitress staff have been wonderful, knowledgable and hot! The bartenders are always lightning fast! Both club plays the hottest cutz in town, so dancing the night away is not a problem. Don't forget their $3 Rum Drink Special and happy hour (glad to know about this one). Worth trying out each one 'till you find which suits you best.

  • Pros: VIP Concierge!, Service!, Good looking crowd!
  • Cons: Hot, Crowded

Not Unique Or Worth It

by b00pi3flak3s

Where's my voodoo doll when I need one? I should poke a few spots to revive the place and make them lower their drink prices and hideous attitude. They have an interesting lounge that is dark and intimate but spoiled by the intense crowd during the weekend.

  • Pros: Location, Cover
  • Cons: Crowded, Music, Service

  • Pros: none
  • Cons: line is long, they show favortism, let people cut inline

I went for happy hour with some friends on Thursday. First of all, the website here says that there are $3 martinis from 5-10 on Thursdays, but the waitress said that they don't do that anymore. I experienced the worst service from the waitress I ever had before. For one thing, she didn't come around and tell us that happy hour was almost over like they usually do. When people said that it was still almost seven so they wanted another happy hour drink, she said her computer said it was seven right now, so it was impossible for her to give the happy hour price. She never smiled or was friendly in any way, and she had some people in our group on individual tabs and others grouped together. Because of this, she ended up mischarging me and another person, so I had to pay twice as much.
