I was happy to see that they have free karate- this is a huge value for me and gets my kids involved in sports (and stay active during the rainy months). I do also like the other classes- and Tyler and Erin are my favorite! They have loads of fun games for the kids and my kids love going- they are great role models. I do like the spa, of course- and it is nice to be able to drop the kids off in the childcare when i have a treatment... especially if my husband is working out at the time! I would recommend this club to others- i do like Heidi in the membership. She is so great! Thanks!

I used to go to Ballys for my workouts, and overall I don't particularly love going to the gym but I like Ballys because it's not a "show-off" kind of place. Hawthorn Farm Athletic beats Ballys anyday. They have everything you could want there! 3 pools, basketball courts, indoor track, spinning room, pilates room and a fully funtioning Day Spa in the club. Everyone there is so pleasant and helpful and the prices are reasonable ($100/month for 2 people) and you get a gift card to the spa for signing up! It feels like your working out in your own home ~ very warm, pleasant feeling. Not cold/hard like a normal gym. Most cardio machines have TVs hooked up to them so it feels like you're not even working out! definitely worth checking out.

We have been members at HFAC for over 5 years and our kids have basically grown up there. The group classes are all free and wonderful, and the individual TV screens on the cardio equipment really helps me get through my workout. My kids started in childcare (great staff!) and now regularly attend the day camps, swim lessons, rock climbing, and now FREE Tae Kwon Do. As a mom I truely appreciate having a gym that not only is upscale, but family friendly. HFAC has probably saved my sanity.
Pros: Youth Classes, Group Classes, Spa and Bistro at the club!
Cons: Replaced golf simulator with a Pilates studio

The club is a complete resort. You can do everything under one roof - work out, take a class, use the rock wall, play squash or basketball, swim in one of the 3 pools, eat in the bistro, relax in the spa, or just hang out with you family by the outdoor pool. The staff are excellent and always happy to see you, and because it's not over crowded like other clubs, they know you by name. The children have plenty of options to keep them busy and their summer camps are great value. I have enjoyed every minute of my time there.
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, Friendly staff, Very clean

This place is amazing. It feels so luxurious just being there. It's got everything you could want to workout, and a fantastic spa right inside! My kids love it, we can play together in the pool or gym, or I drop them off and enjoy some time by myself. It's super comfortable, and everyone is really friendly. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Pros: attractive, spa and childcare!, comprehesive
Cons: , can't think of any
