A True Gem!
by pdxtom
I took my wife and 2 daughters to this little shop for a treat.
The server was friendly and our order arrived quickly.
This was the freshest, tastiest and highest quality ice cream I've had in years.
- Pros: Some of the best ice cream I've ever had.
- Cons: None that I can think of.
Wow! This was an awesome surprise!

I loved the atmosphere, service, and the desserts. I would recommend this place to anyone. Makes a great date spot. The brownie sundae was sooo good and their pie was the best I've tasted in a looong time!
Serious about this ice cream!!!

Cute little ice cream shoppe in downtown Vancouver. They have AWESOME everything! All of their desserts are homemade. The ice cream is creamy and the flavors are delicious. The pies alamode are Delicous and if you don't want anything too big, you can get the "guilt free" ice cream. It is three little scoops of ice cream and a cookie! It's so cute and SO GOOD!!!!!!!! I highly recommend it!!!
- Pros: Everything...
- Cons: Parking
Best ice cream on West Coast
by shereegf
The new owners have brought changes, but they are all good. They've added hot drinks, chocolate chip cookies and brownies--all yummy and delicious winter or summer. We've tried most of the ice cream dishes, but our favorites are ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, Saturdaes, Dr. Chocolate, and Brownie Sundaes. The ice cream is homemade on site, with all natural ingredients, and the Honey Vanilla is delicious. Other recommendations--cheesecake, cookies & cream, bittersweet dark chocolate, and milk chocolate. And the decor is classy as well! I love reading the tables--each one featuring a Renaissance artist/writer.
- Pros: Value, quality and taste of ice cream, friendly staff
- Cons: Not enough seats on busy nights. If you can't wait, buy some to go!

Ice cream is the specialty at the eatery that offers plenty of seating, music and lively decor.
best ice cream shop around

This restaurant has great staff, wonderful ice cream at an excellent price, and a calm but fun atmosphere. We loved everything from the home made ice cream (that's design took skill) to the artwork on the walls, and the live band! Please try this wonderful, old fashioned, just like home parlor.
- Pros: comfortable, kid friendly, wonderful icecream
Better than the Real Renaissance?
by tno
One of the best ice cream shops I've ever visited. Besides the great ice cream there's art on the walls (which changes regularly), live music on weekends (everything from local R&B singers to traditional Eastern European), and an energetic welcoming staff. Their ice cream is outstanding and while they may not have 5 billion flavors to choose from, what flavors that are offered are homemade and superb. Their standards include Dark & Milk Chocolate, Strawberry & Cream, Coffee and , my favorite, Peanut Butter Blitz. They also have seasonal & special flavors (Malted Milk Egg, Eggnog, Grandma's Peanut Butter Fudge, Cheesecake) that change often, plus excellent Sorbets. I've been way too many times and I plan on going back many more.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly Staff, Great Atmosphere
