Macaroni Grill is a restaurant with an identity crisis - and one I like, the other I hate: Good pasta and fresh salad - drowned in sauces Beautiful surroundings - rude and apathetic staff Wine on the table - paper tablecloths and crayons? Full staff on a slow day - 1 hour to get the main course? Fantastic looking dessert tray - check on the table before I see it Well, you get the idea. I think Macaroni Grill loves itself more than others will love it. That said, I'm sure with its downtown location and yuppie pretentiousness that it will be a staple for some time to come. I love what it wants to be.. and I'm sure I'll be back to check up on it.
