I recently had a hair cut and spa treatment at Rumi Simone. The hair cut was ok, but not anything beyond what I have found elsewhere for cheaper. Felt like the hair stylist didn't really care what she was doing at all, it was just a job to be done. Not quite what you expect when you are spending $70 on a hair cut. Had a foot treatment that was nice but very short and VERY overpriced for what you get. I have gotten better foot massages from mani/pedi places that charge $35 for both and spend 2 hours on you. Asked for balancing foot massage recieved Foot Renewal but didn't realize the difference until I double checked the bill at home. Difference of $15, and supposed to be 40 minutes, I thought it seemed short even for the 25 minutes the Balancing Massage that I thought I was getting. Either way big waste of money. The spa is decorated nicely, I was offered something to drink, parking was very difficult to find, lots of spaces just all of them already full. Staff varied from disinterested to fairly nice. I know spas are not somewhere you go for something inexpensive, but I like to feel that I am at least getting sort of my money's worth. Doesn't have to be the biggest bargain ever, but I just felt ripped off by this place, especially considering I didn't even get the service I had asked for. Not planning on going back.
Pros: Nicely Decorated
Cons: Overpiced, wrong service, bad value.

Worst experience with a salon EVER! Booked myself and my bridal party at this salon. Thank GOD I had a pre bridal style appointment because when I went to it the stylist was so inexperienced that she put my veil in upside down and then disagreed with me when I told her that it was in upside down! She had no experience with clip in hair extensions either, I had to show her how to clip them in, which just takes common sense, they are super easy. I asked for big, loose curls but left the salon with tight little curls, GROSS! They didn't offer me wine or anything, not even water! The whole experience was so ridiculous I left the salon feeling absolutely no doubt that I could not go there for my wedding and neither could my bridal party. Unfortunately, I had already paid a nearly $500.00 deposit which I was sure they would refund as soon as the management heard my experience. NOPE, I couldn't have been more wrong. I called that day which was ONLY four days before my wedding, I explained what had happened and how uncomfortable I was to have my hair and 5 bridesmaids hair done there and that I wanted my deposit back. Apparently, they are so desperate for business, (and it's no wonder after reading their reviews) that they were unwilling to give my deposit back. They just kept telling me that I could still come in on my wedding day but I made it very clear to them that I was not confident going to a salon with HOPES that they would do a good job for my wedding. I have since asked for gift certificates, a credit for product, even for them to at least refund half of my deposit back. NOPE! They were not willing to work with me whatsoever... their excuse...there is a 14 day cancellation policy. Then please explain to me..."what is a pre bridal style for?" Isn't it to make sure you are happy with what they do? Isn't the customer always right? NOT AT RUMI SIMONE! Don't waste your time or your money, the place and it's staff that I was in contact with are a joke!
Pros: Honestly, there were no pros
Cons: Basically everything, completely unsatisfied!

The spa is great - everyone is very nice. I will say the attitude from some who work at the front desk (i have been several times over the years) is not one I look forward to. Not including the staff downstairs, and it is a great experience. I'll be back and I'll continue to try to avoid staying in the store downstairs for longer than it takes to pay my bill.

What ever you do, do not get the Foot renewal treatment. It is a waste of time. If you want your feet rubbed for a half hour, just get a stress zone and have the therapist work the most of the time on your feet. that way you can get your hands done too if you want. The chairs they have for it are not comfortable, I felt like I was sliding out of it. Go done the street to another nail spa where there are massaging chairs and they treat your feet lovely.
Pros: Some good therapist
Cons: loud, car horns, dogs barking

I just had the best hair cut and color done by Lydia at Rumi Simone Salon. I have never had so many compliments on my hair - it looks and feels fabulous.

The sound of blaring car alarms is Rumi Simone's idea of background music. They are located above a parking garage. Whatever you do, don't get the Rose Jolie pedicure....it was $90 and the most boring 90 minutes of my life! The pedicurist fumbled with the treatments and it was totally not worth it. They have very limited amenities...it was expensive...the service is sub par.
Pros: You can hear car alarms
Cons: Limited amenities, expensive

I am a total spa expert, so what I say goes. Totally being silly by the way, but I have been to many a spa even some foreign destination spas. So, like I said, I am an expert and after a recent visit to Rumi Simone I swear I heard the fat lady sing!! They have thought of everything you might need, and they care for you as a guest at a true luxury facility should be cared for. The Estheticians and Massage Therapist I have seen are fantastic. I am devoted to Rumi Simone and cant wait to visit again!!!! Thanking my stars that someone created this spa for our enjoyment.
Pros: luxurious, great service
Cons: not a one

I've been to Rumi Simone several times for a European facial and was pleased each time by the results. I've always booked with the head esthetician and her recommendations have really improved the texture of my skin. The atmosphere in the lounge was relaxing each time I was there, however, there were a couple of moments when the lounge did get too crowded with other clients but was serene once they left for their treatments.
Pros: service, ambience, parking
Cons: lounge can get crowded at times

so an lmt that has been practicing for 5 years, with nary a stained sheet?..surely dear girl you jest...oil stains fabrics..it always has..when you use hi-chemical compound cleansers maybe the oil will come out...but would you want bleach & ajax on a sheet?..I'd rather have the stains. furthermore lmt1, you were in months ago and are just now getting around to writing your nasty review?..wow must not be alot of excitement in lmt1 land...It doesn't speak well of a grounded nature...and you felt a snootieness in the "cold" lounge area?....well it is LO for crying out loud..as for the rudeness and inept treatment you say you recieved wouldn't that be something that you could call and speak with a manager about?..or write a letter?..I'm sure alot of dynamics were in play that particular day...but the flavor of your post was mean, vindictive and completely uncalled for .

I visited this spa a few months ago as a birthday present, and still can't stop thinking about the money my husband wasted. I haven't been to many spas, but I would hope that this place is an exception. I scheduled a shiatsu massage and was told when I checked in that the therapist didn't do shiatsu. I also reguested a male therapist and wasn't told until I got there that he wasn't available. The massage was ok, but felt very rushed (I have been an LMT for 5 years, so I have some experience). During the massage, all I could hear was dogs barking and cars honking outside, while I was trying to relax and not think about the gross stains on the blanket. At no time during check-in or out did I get one apology and the girls at the front dest were very rude and acted as if I was interupting their conversation. When I walked up the stairs I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the place was beautiful....but no one was there to greet me?...after 5+ minutes a girl appeared giggling and acting as if just having to speak to me was "putting her out". The changing room was like a locker room, and the waiting area was very stuffy, and "cold". After my massage I wanted to enjoy the steam room, but it was crowded and the "snooty" atmosphere was making me sick. I cannot believe anyone would give this spa a good rating....unless you like being treated like a number by a whole bunch of underpaid snobs.
