Consistently great hair from Rebecca

I am somewhere between low maintenance and no maintenance with my hair and Rebecca was the first stylist to listen to me when I said that I needed a simple, easy to maintain hair style. She does a great job with my cut and color and I simply towel-dry my hair and add some gel to handle the frizz - no drying, no styling and no stress!

Highly recommend Jen P!!!!

I have been going to Jen P for almost 7 years. I started going to her when she was going to school and then continued to follow her where ever she went.

As most women know, finding someone who knows your hair and knows whats good with your face is hard to find. This is the reason why I have continued to follow Jen where ever she went cause she knows my hair, knows what hair style would look good and I have NEVER been dissatisfied with any coloring or cut she has done.

When I first started going to her, I was never one to go outside the box on cuts or color. Jen understood and listened to me and never did something I wouldn't like. As time went on and the more cuts she did the more I would let her do what she thought would look good. This was mainly cause of me and my personality and uneasiness of going outside the box. Now anytime I get a cut or color, I let her do what she wants. She is very talented and good at her job and that is very hard to find!!!

I highly recommend Jen P to anyone in need of a great hair stylist.

great haircut!

When I arrived at Do for my appointment with Jen, I had already spent 2 nights chopping at my hair. My hair is wavy, was long, and had not been cut in over a year. When Jen saw my hair, her reaction was 'wow, you really did a job on your hair'. It was a disaster and I thought sure enough, shaving it would be the only way to go. On the contrary, Jen had a good amount of ideas and ways to fix it while being able to keep me comfortable with a new short do and me wanting it to be a little funkier and still somewhat conservative. She was strong willed in knowing what were good ideas that I had and knowing what things she could work around to make me happy. Basically, she gave me the best haircut ever. It's not a cookie-cutter look, fits my needs, looks great, and I haven't stopped getting wows from people I know.

The atmosphere in Do is comfortable, which for me is important. Getting my haircut can be stressful, so being one on one in a small hip place was perfect. Also, times are tough, haircuts can be pricey and crappy or cheap and great. Here, the price is average and comes with an outstanding job.

Gen Perkins @ Do!

Gen is great. I began w/ her because she had enthusiastic online reviews. I came to my first appointment w/ photos & a rather detailed list of my likes, dislikes and even a few of my mate's comments. Some of the things on the list were contradictory. By the time Gen had finished w/ me, every point on the list had been addressed. I was really surprised, this was a new experience. I like more adventurous cuts and always need help w/ color. Gen is definely up to the task in both areas. Sometimes I have an idea and take a photo of the concept w/ me and other times I just don't have a clue. Either way Gen comes through. Because she really listens to her clients, I'm sure that she can also adjust to those who are more conservative in taste. The salon itself is really fun and relaxed and in a great neighborhood.

Do! does my do!

I moved over to Do! when my stylist, Jen P, moved from Blu to Do! She is great, I love how she cuts my hair, no more frizzies for me! She is very concerned about maintaining the health of my hair and not over processing it. I also think the salon is really cute and LOVE that it has parking. I highly recommend Jen P at Do!

Be very specific about what you want

I received a good cut from Rebecca (the owner) on one occasion but also received a terrible cut and terrible color on another occasion. My appointments have not started on time and the environment is not very warm and welcoming. I expressed interest in purchasing shampoo and conditioner and without shown any choices was handed a bag with the products in it without even given an opportunity to look at the different products they sold and discuss the prices. I'm sorry to say I will not be going back.

I called and scheduled an appointment with Kristi, and they booked me with Kris, who is not to be confused with Kristi. They did not tell me she had left, and did not want to tell me where she had went to! I love going to see Becky Dawson at Do!

I have a few friends that go to Becky for their cuts & color & their hair always look amazing. I decided to give her a try & i'm totally hooked! Becky has done my hair three times now & I am always extreamly pleased! She really listens to what I want and really makes sure she knows what i'm asking for. I always get compliments on my hair cut and color, and am positive you wont be disappointed of you go see Becky!

Fantastic results! From short & sassy to long & classy!

I followed Lana to "Do!" when she moved there last spring because I have always been satisfied with her cuts & colors. I love the "Do!" salon too - great environment, fun, comfortable, and not to forget affordable... not stuck up or snooty, but super cool. I brought my boyfriend & she gave him a great cut too... I recommend her to all my friends. The other stylists are super great & nice too.
