The tanning salon is very clean and the staff is great. They are always helpful and very nice. I've had a great experience using Urban Tan.

Very professional and helpful staff. I hadn't tanned in a salon in nearly 8 years so I am out of the loop to say the least. I found this Pearl in the Pearl and I am very happy for it. Everythying was explained to me in a very professional and caring manner. I will definately recommend this business to all of my friends and family!
Pros: Friendly profesional staff in a very clean and relaxing salon.

I looked forever online in search of a tanning salon that not only had nice people but a very clean environment. I had this one narrowed down with another one. When I called the other salon, the girl was very rude, uninformative, and was asking for $169/month. However, when I called Urban Tan, they were very nice, extremely knowledgeable and I ended up only paying $59 for the same types of beds, no sales pitch at all. They have an awesome fan that is constantly blowing on you to keep you from overheating too. They also thoroughly clean the beds for you and spray and wipe down the entire bed. I also found it convenient that the on-off button along with the fan control buttons were all inside the bed which makes it very convenient for you to get comfortable in the bed before turning it on. Fast results too!

I really liked this tanning salon, they had a lot of options, and were really patient explaining a lot of the differences. The staff was really friendly and cared more about me and my body (and pocket book) than making a big sale. It was also really clean with fun music - a definate plus!
Pros: very clean, nice beds, friendly

This is by far the cleanest, nicest tanning place in portland with the most friendly, helpful people. No sales pressure whatsoever, just helpful and knowledgeable. I tried the Mystic tan for the first time and it was great, except for a small spot on my arm. I came back and they gave me a free mystic tan to fix the problem along with some lotion. They are amazing! I've recommended them to all my friends.

This is bar none the nicest tanning salon Ive ever visited. It reminds me of a tropical paradise complete with mini palm trees. The atmosphere is cozy and Urban Tan has a good-looking employee who is extremely helpful. I heart this place.

Urban Tan is hip and upscale, yet its owners and employees are friendly and not at all snooty. It has a great atmosphere and is kept superclean. Top of the line equipment as well.
