Wonderful Experience!
by Ingy
This was my first visit to Bliss after not doing anything with my hair for a long time. Not only was my stylist, Nicole, personable and knowledgeable, she offered some great ideas for making my hair look and feel amazing. The end result was a fabulous and and color and I couldn't be happier.
- Pros: Great cut AND color
- Cons: None...I was really happy with everything
Spoiled and satisfied.

I have been going to Bliss for quite awhile now and meaning to get on here and rave about it. I have nothing but excellent things to say. My stylist is Nicole and she is nothing short of an expert at what she does. I am constantly complimented on my cuts and color. If I tell her what I want, she does precisely what I ask. If I leave it up to her, she comes up with something awesome. She always goes out of her way to accommodate me and my schedule. I can tell that she loves what she does and she is definitely a perfectionist, as someone else in another review mentioned. Additionally, the salon is always clean and relaxing. Ethan at the front desk is always hilarious and friendly and the other stylists are fun to listen to and be around. Any time I call and leave a voice mail, someone calls me back well within the day and is ready to help me. Good stuff, Nicole, Ethan and Bliss! Keep it up!
- Pros: Friendly, accomodating, perfect service, good vibes
- Cons: None
The best esthetician in town!
by WendyJ
I've lived in several different cities and as all people, especially women know it is nerve racking to find a new salon. I first sought out Bliss Salon for there waxing services. I have been seeing Kristen at Bliss Salon for almost two years and she is remarkable! She has always been on time, is quick, and most importantly made me feel as though I was walking into her home every visit. I've also used several of their hairdressers and would strongly recommend Stephanie. She's always positive and really listens to what YOU want and not what she thinks you want. Ethan who manages the scheduling is also an absolute pleasure every time I come in. Overall, I've had great experiences at this salon and would recommend it to my closest friends and family!
- Pros: Best service
Not my expierience at all!

Well i have been coming onto the Bliss Salon for about 6 months now and seeing the same amazingly talented and beautiful Miss Nicole... as my hair color specialist has been a wonderful treat. She is professional, funny, honest and truly works to meet the clients needs and wants!
I love my hair everytime I leave and look forward to seeing her at my next appointment!!!!
You Rock Niki!
- Pros: AWesome@@@@@@
- Cons: not a thing!
Love my new do, thanks Nicole

Today I got my hair done at Bliss by Nicole. I am always nervous when I get my hair done because I don't do it very often. But Nicole has never let me down. I told her what I wanted and she made it happen. I went to a social event after and EVERYONE complimented on it. I finally got home tonight and my fiancee couldn't believe how great it looked. Thanks Nic, you're awesome. I 'll be back.
- Pros: Experience, relaxed, clean, easy to make appointment
- Cons: Far from my house! But I drive there anyway!
Awesome Salon

I've been going to Bliss Salon & Day Spa for almost 2yrs now. There's several reasons I keep coming back, but the most important is that my stylist Nicole is a very talented perfectionist and she gives me a fantastic haircut each and every time. It doesn't matter whether I want a conservative business look for work or a more wild faux-hawk for going out... she does them all with ease, charm and wit. It also doesn't hurt that she's one of the prettiest stylists I've ever met! :) The staff is always courteous, professional, accommodating, and happy, and it's obvious that they enjoy what they do. They always provide appointment reminders, offer water or tea for the wait, and just plain old good conversation. I love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for a great haircut or some special well-deserved pampering. -Greg
Great place to go IF you are asking to be bald!!!
by ceo4life
Well, after talking with a SNOTTY receptionist, my nightmare REALLY began wth the stylist, Nicole or "Nikki". She is a beast! Rude, talks bad about all her"friends"(I could over hear her on her phone, and to other employees. She would talk about one of the employees, the minute they would walk away, then talk about the next!! EVEN the owner(if her name is Laura!!), AND I could hear it ALL!! I was shocked at her total lack of professionalism!! NOW, my hair...HORRIBLE!! She did want SHE wanted to do! And it left me with hair that is all falling out!! I cried for weeks!! I have balding spots because of her. I had tried to talk to the manager(the one Nicole doesnt like because she is "constantly ruining her schedule") ) and NEVER got a return call!! I have had to buy a wig for work, I am a model!! I begged that she NOT do her idea, that my hair couldnt handle the stress, its almost like she did it on purpose!! I dont know!!! I am SO traumatized, if you love/like your hair like I do/did, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON, AND MORE SPECIFICALLY, THAT STYLIST! I just cant believe what she did to me! She styled my singed and fried hair when she was done, as if that what I asked for!! I just could NOT believe what i was looking at! I have sores on my scalp, from the poducts burning me so bad!!! I am looking into legal rcourse, and contacted the state board of cosmetology!! NEVER have I had to endure such a nightmare! I now can only pray my hair will grow back through the scarring from the chemical burns! I am ruined!!!! I just wish I could have been warned!!! :(
- Pros: NONE!!
- Cons: ALL stylist: fat and rude, NO talent!
Response from this business

Dear friend,
If you have something against Nicole, fine, but please find a more mature way of resolving your issues. You are not actually a bliss client and I do not appreciate you slandering my business or my stylist. We have red flagged this silly review and it should be removed soon. May you find more constructive things to do with your time girl...good luck.

fantastic pedicure
by emagnolias
I have to say that I rarely find the need to post a review on citysearch... so the fact that I am taking the time to do so already speaks volumes.
Initially I was put off by the decor, which seemed a bit outdated, or at least not my style. However, my $55 pedicure was way better than any pedicure I'd ever received, counting spas in NYC that cost over $120 for one hour.
The pedicure seemed to last forever, and my awesome nail specialist, Anna, got every last bit of my horrible callouses off my feet!
If you want to feel extremely pampered, and not risk fungal infections from those cheap-o nail salons, go to Bliss and ask for Anna!
- Pros: talent
- Cons: decor
Full Bridal Services? I think not
by maryeileen
I will do my best to keep this concise but, because my repeated requests to speak with a manager have gone unfulfilled, I have no other vehicle for venting my irritation and disappointment. It was because of the great customer service reviews I read about this place that had me calling for an appointment to have the "full bridal services" for me and my sisters. But before I even went through with my trial hair appt. I said, to a very rude receptionist, before we proceed I need to know if I'm able to schedule appointments for my 3 sisters as well, the morning of the wedding. I was told (again, very rudely) that appointments are not scheduled that far out but she would e-mail me a confirmation of the appointments. The experience was off-putting but I felt confident I would get the appointment. Overall, the hair style was mediocre but I thought my stylist listened and was prepared to make improvements the day of the wedding. About 3 weeks went by and I never heard from Bliss. I called and (after several times listening to the phone go unanswered) was told that there was an appointment for me, alone. I was irritated but thought this would be an easy fix. After 6 or so phone calls, voice mails left, repeated (failed) attempts to speak with a manager, I finally got appointments for the 4 of us. I never did hear back from a manager. I was also rudely told that another stylist would have to come in on her day off to accommodate me. Someone explain what “full bridal services” means, because I was under the impression that if you go in with enough notice, there should be plenty of availability. I won't go into all the details of my experience the morning of the wedding, but I will say that, once again, my hair was mediocre and only made pretty because of the large flowers in it. I could have done it myself for significantly less money. My sisters were not listened to. Their hair turned out “ok” but I’d like to do a side-by-side comparison with the photos they brought in...nothing like them. The one stylist also kept telling my sister how much hair she had and that this was going to take "forever." Sorry we bothered you. The last thing I'll say is how long it took. You'd think that women rushing to get to their "real" appointments would have taken less time. Before I sign off, I should say that I do take some of the responsibility for my crappy experience. My first appointment was in April, 5 months before the wedding. But I should have gone elsewhere as soon as I saw the level of customer service I was confronted with. For that, I accept full responsibility. I will never, ever go here again and will encourage all my friends to do the same. The basis of customer service should come from a mutual respect. I was treated as an inconvenience from the beginning and honestly, would like all my money back. Because I know that won't happen, this will have to do. I have never written on City Search before but again, it was the only way to get a manager to listen. If I were any other person, you would have ruined my wedding. But I didn’t let you. I just hope you don’t have the opportunity to ruin someone else’s.
