I just got a brazilian bikini, upper lip and brow done. And I couldn't be happier with the experience and the results. Jane makes you feel comfortable from the very start and made it as pain-free as she could! Not only is she awesome, she's also quick with the ability to be very precise with her waxing. And the very affordable prices and student discount are the cherry on top. I will definitely be back!

Pros: cute location, Jane is awesome, affordable prices, fast service

Cons: quick search for parking, but other than that NONE!

I've received Brazilian bikini waxes from SEVERAL different salons from SoCal all the way up to Washington! Jane does a phenomenal job and is in my top 3 experiences. Hardly any tweezing, and the pain is held to a minimum. She's one of the sweetest individuals I have ever met. The price is good, and she'll have you out of there in under 35min.

Pros: On street parking, price, quality, customer service

Cons: Wax may be a lil warm (so speak up!)

Jane Cowan has become my new favorite waxer! I got a referral from THE ONLY PERSON in this world I would trust enough to refer such a service...Jane came highly recommended. I actually drove from Seattle to Portland 2 weekends ago just to see Jane...I'll tell you what, the service was THE BEST I've ever had. The experience was the friendliest and funniest...the price was so competitive...the service was thorough and gentle. I was treated like a long lost best friend and will continue to trek 156 miles just to have Jane wax me! Go to her, laugh, get hairless wherever you want, and make a friend for life!

Pros: Price, thorough attention to detail, great personality, quiet and private atmosphere

I'm so glad I used citysearch to find Jane when I moved to Portland. I went with her because of her prices, and I continue to go to her because she rocks my world. She has such an amazing energy and I couldn't imagine putting my booty in any other woman's face! She's smart, sassy, talented, and professional.

Pros: Parking, prices, everything

Cons: none at all!

I'm hesistant to write a positive review for fear that every woman in the Portland-area will flock to Jane for their waxing, but I feel compelled to tell the truth! Jane does WONDERS with wax. If it were legal, I would marry her and keep her as my own personal waxing harem. I'm extremely picky about my brows, and I can easily say that they have never looked better.

When I moved to Portland I had no idea where to get a good eyebrow waxing. I decided to go to Jane after reading all of the nice reviews about her on Citysearch. It turns out that not only did I end up loving my eyebrows...I also ended up loving my experience. Jane is the nicest person!!! She is so sincere and so welcoming. I more than highly recommend her.

I went for waxing after a horrible experience at another salon, but Jane is just awesome! I loved the way her business is set up and the privacy it provides. She really does relate to her customers and I will definitely be going back to her in the future! Try her out! I think you'll keep going back after the first visit!

I've been living in Portland since 1991 & have visited a number of salons in the metro area for facials and waxing. I have to say that Jane Cowan is by far the best in town! I started seeing her a few months ago and am so impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and personality that I won't be going anywhere else! Ladies, she is the ONLY one to see for Brazilian waxing. Jane's fun to talk to & you are actually able to maintain your dignity! (Something that can be hard in that 'position'). :-) I've recommended her to all of my friends. Do yourself a favor and give her a try. I'm sure you'll be back!

After years of bad waxing and hard sell facialists I finally met "the one." Jane is fast, efficient, respectful and great to hang around. It hardly feels like going in for a service, it's more like hanging out with a cool chick-- except when she's done your skin is glowing and you have the best brows in town. I don't even live in the neighborhood anymore, but Jane Cowan is a prize, and definitely worth the drive. Very Highly Recommended!

Pros: Skill, attitude, price, communication

Cons: schedule ahead, the secret's out!
