Jenna is very good at what she does. The salon has a good atmosphere and I felt very comfortable being there. Thank you for the nice hair cut and color.

Sarah took me from long red hair to short blond hair without the usual identity crisis associated with such a drastic change. She let me take my time going lighter and shorter appt. by appt. and I LOVE IT. I was told twice this week that I look like a Movie Star!! I was feeling so frumpy and blah but now I have a spring in my step and a smile on my face. Thanks Sarah!!

I have been going to see Jena for over year now and have always been more than happy with the results. A friend thought we should try this salon after reading all the great reviews here we werent disappointed. Jena has an eye for color and structure and you can tell that for her styling hair is a creative outlet and not just a job. She has done my hair, my daughters and my sons and weve all been happy. She even repaired a horrible cut that I got between visits the last time I was in, thanks Jena!! The only thing I would change would be to have there to two of her so that I could get appointments more easily!

Jena did a great haircut and color for me. I recently moved to Portland from LA and had the same person taking care of my hair for 25+ years in LA.. Jena gave me the best haircut and color I have ever had!!! Great calming atmosphere soothing music to listen to, excellent products and service. Easy street parking. Worth waiting for a return call! I love this salon! Everyone is great and the space feels wonderful to be in - very relaxing and comfortable. Sarah Bandy has been doing my hair for years and she is definitely the BEST! I highly recommend Arabella and, if you're looking for a new hairdresser, ask for an appointment with Sarah - she never disappoints!

Arabella is a great salon. Wonderful open space (also very cozy), great lighting and friendly staff make this the place to find in town. Sarah is amazing! I've never liked my hair more. I never have a problem finding an appointment or getting squeezed in for a minor trim. It is tough to find a reliable and talented stylist, you will definitely get that with Sarah.

Pros: Comfortable and friendly!

I can't rate the salon because I haven't been able to even get a hold of anyone to schedule and appt! i've called several times during BUSINESS HOURS and keep getting voicemail. I even left a message and noone's called me back. I think I'm going to look elsewhere.

Finding Arabella Salon is a little like treasure hunt, but once you discover it, it is yours to keep. I have to say the #1 scary thing for me about visiting a new stylist is that one never knows what one is going to end up with when the job is done, but my first experience at Arabella Salon could never be more positive. Piper is just wonderful! She even offered me a $10 discount though I was not aware coupons are available on line for the first visit . I am very impressed with her skill and work ethics and will definitely come back next time.

Pros: A very cool place!

Glad I found this place! I've been switching salons for the last 4 years looking for "the one". I think I found it! Piper is great! Not only does she listen to what you want, she uses her own creativity and knowledge to do it even better. I showed her a picture of color, I love what she did even better. I let her decide what to do with the cut and I couldn't have walked out of there happier! I will definitely continue to go there and already have a friend calling for an appointment. Oh, and I didn't tell my boyfriend I was getting my hair done...when he came home from work, his first words were "I love it, you look hot!"

I normally don't write reviews, but I have to give Piper some recognition. She actually LISTENS to you. The first time I saw her for a cut, I brought in a picture and also mentioned that I was a busy mom. She suggested how we could modify the style to fit into my limited primping time, but still achieve a similar look. I said go for it, and what do you know, it looked pretty darn good after she was done! Even my husband loved the cut (and he never notices). Highly recommended.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, great stylist.

Cons: Parking, can be hard to find.
