Worst Thai Food in a long time. My wife picked up some pad thai and green curry on the way home. We usually love thai food but this was gross. The pad thai was flavorless and the noodles were under cooked or something. The texture was all wrong.

The green curry was simply disgusting. We threw out $25 worth of food. I've never done that. Be warned.  View Less

Will never go back. I went there with co-workers for lunch. Two of us ordered the coconut curry with potatoes, carrots, extra veggies and shrimp. What they brought was crinkle potatoes (think school cafeteria french fries), previously frozen - now limp veggies and shrimp all drowning in a curry paste. One of us ordered the green beans with chicken and again frozen - now shriveled veggies were served. Yuck.  View Less View More

Dirty dishes, child labor. We went in for dinner, and ordered vietnamese food, and we got something vaguely resembling it. Two young girls were serving and running the register, they were probably 14-15... I know that family run places sometimes have the kids involved, but there was no adult in sight!

Considering Saigon is in it's name, we had assumed they would know how to make staple vietnamese dishes, but no... The food was bland and greasy, and just not what it advertised itself to be.

To top matters off, the brought us dirty chopsticks. When I got up to go to the bathroom, I found a cart full of dirty dishes in the back hallway outside the men's room. They were just stacking up the dirty dishes there, apparently for hours. It was gross. We left without finishing our food.  View Less

Yummy Foood. I LOVE this place. I eat here as much as my budget allows me to. The wait staff is very nice and the one time they got my order wrong, the chef came out and offered the correct dish (I didn't even have time to tell them that is wasn't my order.) Clean restaurant (HUGE PLUS) and the FOOD was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

(Can you tell this is my favorite place to eat?)  View Less

wah wah wah!!. Oh I hate to give a poor rating, but this place really s u c k s . The food is not very good at all. The vietnamese food tastes more like chinese food, as do the thai selections. I'm sorry but whoever is in that kitchen just doesn't know what they're doing. But they do have bubble tea. That's the only thing i'll ever get if Iever go there again. Have been multiple times and it's the same. Just poor quality food. Seems very americanized. Sad but true.  View Less View More

Good food But recently bad service. Last week my boyfriend and i made our usual trip to Chino sai gon. We walked in to two dismal looking women. They gesture us to sit. We wait 20 min to get our order taken. Then the ladies walked around and acted like we were an inconvenience. When my food came out i asked for it to be a little less hot. Which is normal for them to just fix. THe woman told me no. I was like ok... then she brought us our ticket before we were even halfway starting to eat. So we asked for boxes and packed up thinking they were just closing. When i get to the counter the woman was on the phone of all things keeps talking on the phone doesn"t say a word to us then takes my card and keeps talking on the phone. No thank you how was it nothing. So for the one time in my life i didn"t tip because they made us feel really bad. We are not gonna go back for a while. Even though they still have good food. Our one year anniversary was spent there and now my favorite place to eat is off limits till they shape up!!  View Less View More

Best PHO and Egg Rolls in Portland!. I really enjoy pho--to the point where I am eating it every other day if not everyday. Imagine my surprise when I found the best pho at this place when they're not even known for it! I have to say the beef they use in their pho is lean so it's not as tender as some other pho places (Pho Van, Pho Hung) but the broth is superb and can't be beat. I started eating here because it was close to work and the prices were extremely reasonable but now I frequently eat here because I am addicted to their beef noodle soup and chicken and beans dish. Also try their egg rolls for an appetizer...they are so tasty and all my friends think they're the best too. With the restaurant being recently remodeled and looking fabulous, I don't have any complaints.  View Less View More

Great Lunch. I've eaten lunch at Chino Saigon several times. Good food at a good value! The Pork Curry w/Onions and Peanuts over rice is my favorite of the three dishes I've tried. The Charcoal Pork with noodles, and General Tso chicken were also good.  View Less View More

They Changed. This was Saigon Kitchen restaurant, but they changed the name to Chino Saigon.I tried their food.....and these are my ideal about this restaurant. Their service is improved.Last weekend, I really had a great dinner with my family. Our water is always refilled.Paying attention of the waiter made me agreeable. When you come here, let try their soup....for instance hot and sour bean curd soup, chicken coconut soup, hot and sour shimp, spicy beef noodle soup, and not miss whole deep fire fish with mushroom, yakisoba noodle, green bean with special sauce if you are interesting in stir fired food.Their egg rolls and saft-pepper calamari are also excellent.I also like their new beverage....bubble tea(smooth tea) with a lot of different flavor.....but it is taken a long time to make..........Try their food............have a good meal  View Less View More
