Thanks a lot!

I am very picky when it comes to my Latte. Victor was totally cool about it and it was if he could read my mind. A friend of mine and I went in looking very dodgy on 05/18/2009. We decided to get some coffee after a long day of work before we took our evening stroll.
Victor took our order. He pulled some very lovely shots which he showed us. He was fun, friendly and fantastic!
If you want to have a quality drink then come to Crema. The staff is awesome, treats are yummy and they have awesome windows for babe watching!
- Pros: Nice shots!
- Cons: They stole my heart and my business from other local shops.
Love the pastries

The food is great whether you're in the mood for pastries, a sandwich or soup. Coffee lovers paradise, good orange juice, tea and hot chocolate too. Nice variety. Have found everyone there to be friendly, love the open atmosphere with the wifi.
- Pros: Food, coffee. location
- Cons: Can't really think of any
The best

Crema is my favorite favorite place to go to meet up with friends for coffee, read a book, do homework, relax with the paper, etc. It's the best of southeast
- Pros: Coffee, service, atmosphere, location
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
Perfect cappuccinos!
by stumptownlover at Citysearch
The first time I came in here was for a quick coffee stop and just had a cup of their house coffee, which was good stumptown but just as good as any other place. The next time I came I had a cappuccino and I've gone back every time I'm in the mood for one since. They're the best I've had anywhere, and I've had a lot of cappuccinos. The espresso is rich and smooth and the foam is thick and delicious. Their toddy and iced lattes, and iced mochas are delicious too, but the cappuccino remains my favorite. And if you're looking for dessert be sure to try the red velvet cupcakes, the frosting is delicious!
- Pros: Cappucinos and award winning baristas.
Great place, but people, this is not your private office!

I love the coffee and food here-the quality is top-notch. But, why is it that every time I go there, no matter what time of day, every table is taken by individual people on their laptops who stay there for hours? It may be a Portland thing, and I'm probably just getting old and cranky, but there seem to be more of these people here than at other coffee shops. I almost always end up taking my stuff to go instead of having to sit at the communal table, surrounded by more people pounding away on their laptops. That being said, no other bakery that I know of has consistently wonderful coffee, food, and baked goods like Crema. It's the best.
- Pros: Best espresso, coffee, and baked goods in town
- Cons: Patrons hogging the tables and working on their laptops for hours at a time
I travel the world, and this is the best coffee shop, bar none.

The bread is made daily, the croissants are the flakiest I have ever had melt in my mouth. They use imported chocolate in the dessets and make the mayonnaise fresh daily. There is a breakfast pastry with mushrooms and cheese and tomatoes that I would fly to Portland to have daily. The bakers change the menu enough to keep it fresh, with out taking the stand bys that the regulars rely on off the menu.
The baristas are all professional, though slower than mass produced coffee houses.
The interior is light and refreshing, airy and clean.
It is in a word, delightful! More than a neighborhood coffee shop.
Cheers to the innovate owner!
- Pros: innovate pasteries
- Cons: lines at busy times
Best pastries in town
by sammi1 at Citysearch
What a delightful find. The pastries are quite possibly some of the best I've ever had. I don't drink coffee, but the wonderful assortment of tea's can fill any need. I've been back for lunch several times, excellent!!
I've not found anything at this little gem that is not simply top notch. A great neighborhood place, but worth the drive if you live in another part of town. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dessert, it's all wonderful. There are waits for tables at times, but that's to be expected in a quality establishment. If it weren't worth it, the people ahead of you wouldn't be there.
- Pros: Delicious food
- Cons: Lines at time, but the quality of the food makes it well worth the time.
Rockin' in house baked goods, great homeade soups, and Stumptown, does it get any better?
by likwiditee at Citysearch
OK, first off, to all the whiny and impatient twits who have "jobs", RELAX and maybe give yourself some more time so you're not so rushed. Remember, the staff @ Crema are people too, not robots. If you want fast coffee, go somewhere else. I don't even live in town and am not a regular but every experience I've had there was exceptional. The coffee is wicked strong and tastefully prepared, the food is top notch,(try some homeade soup!) and the service is friendly and unique. We don't need anymore homogenous chain coffee joints to support, do we? Go Crema, keep on keeping on.
Sweet sweets and Good Coffee

My favorite coffee shop in Portland! Try the California Cookie. I'm a straight up house drip drinker and they're always roatating Kenya to an Ethopian to Lima to whatever, I appreciate that. The staff is always very nice too!
- Pros: Outdoor seating, Yummy treats
- Cons: Long lines early on the weekends
consistently good neighborhood kind of place
by coffeesnobista at Citysearch
The coffee here is french pressed - strong and fresh and always hot. The baked goods are made every day. Some of these reviews say the staff has attitude. I am a regular here and they are always super friendly - its a neighborhood kind of place. If anyone is rude its the customers at times. Get over it. They aren't perfect, and they will refund your money if you're not happy, so just tell them instead of posting your negative thoughts on here. Or at least leave contact info. I'm sure they wouldn't snake anyone out of a tip Vanloon.
Where else can you find hand crafted baked goods and hand crafted coffee under one roof in this city? Most bakery coffee misses the mark. Kudos to Crema for being good at both.
- Pros: free wi-fi, latte art on every drink
- Cons: closes early, sometimes people let their kids run free
