It's true. The fish is great. The chowder is excellent. The service is also great and getting better every time I go in! The biggest drawback I've ever found is the owner. A jovial guy, that's for sure. Quite the character. However, on at least two occassions now, my wait to place my order, has been delayed while he not just criticized his workers at the counter, but straight out yelled at and humiliated them in front of the whole resteraunt. It was like a total 180! No matter what theproblem was (and it sounded like a small one) I am sure there was a better time for that to be brought up. A near empty tip jar, and a tyrant of a boss. I don't enjoy placing my order with a girl who is nearly in tears. Since then, I can't stand to listen to his tawdry boasting. It's no longer endearing.
Pros: The Chowder.
Cons: The Owner.
