Ok food, but terribly overpriced. I really want to like this place. The idea behind the space is great, but I can't see spending $8 or $9 dollars for a non-meat sandwich and a bag of chips.

There are places along Alberta with better food and much more reasonable prices.  View Less

Awesome coffeeshop with vegan options. My friends and I meet here every week for our craft circle session on Thursday nights. I had never heard of this place before the craft circle, but we chose it since it is one of the few cafes in the area which has internet and a printer available to customers. So it is excellent for our group as we often need to print out patterns.

What can i say I'm pretty impressed by this place. The food options are simple but delicious, i often go for the Grilled Vegan sandwich which is one of the tastiest vegan sandwiches i have ever had, chock full of roasted red peppers and other veggie goodness. Their chili is darn good too, and like most food options on their menu, comes vegetarian or vegan. Though the lighting is slightly dim (which i was worried about for the craft circle) it has a nice comfortable ambiance and fun eclectic decor.  View Less

Uno and a soy latte, please.. A cute cafe in the Alberta Arts district. The baristas and friendly, offering up at least a warm smile with whatever else you order. The Italian Turkey Panino is delicious, along with everything else on the menu. It's a pretty large menu compared to the usual 2 sandwiches and a small salad you can usually find in a coffee shop. They just started offering organic cream cheese for their bagels as well! Books, magazines and an assortment of board and card games. Sit down in one of their cozy chairs and enjoy a rainy Portland afternoon.  View Less View More

Hop on in. I stopped in at Fuel Cafe during Alberta Art Hop and it was very busy. I got a hummus sandwhich - lettuce, hummus & tomato on sourdough and chips on the side. I enjoyed my light lunch. I wish I had known there was a patio because I would of perfered to eat outside. I got an Alternative Baking Company Double Chocolate Chip Cookie a slice of both the vegan cakes they had and got them to go. The cakes were yummy!! There are several vegan sandwhiches/salads/soups on the menu.  View Less View More

Creative sandwiches and 1970's decor draws a multi-generational crowd of bohemians to this Alberta Arts cafe.. In Short
A retro burnt orange and avocado green color scheme, shelves of books and board games and a sign requesting the posting of "Leftist propaganda only please," are reminiscent of a 1970's Berkeley coffee house. Artsy folksters of all ages wash down fresh made sandwiches, from grilled herbed goat's cheese to pastrami and Swiss, with $1 PBRs. Desserts, like creamy lemon-berry bars and chocolate layer cake pair well with a varied selection of organic coffees and teas.  View Less View More
