I'm thrilled to have found AGmassage. Meghan Clark is a great LMT. I always look for a massage therapist who has the ability to adjust pressure depending on how my body is responding. Some therapists don't have the ability to sense what the perfect pressure is, but Meghan does. She is so sensitive I practically fall asleep. She combines strength, skill, and that natural touch for an exquisite massage. Very highly recommended.
Pros: excellent massage, soothing environment, great value
Cons: none

Wow. I've experienced "it's a miracle! I'm healed!" a few times at AG Massage. I have chronic back and neck pain. What makes Alison Gaylor so effective at what she does is a number of things. Her technique to pinpoint the problem (usually not where you think it is) illustrates her expertise. Her ability to gauge pressure so you feel sufficiently worked but not overworked illustrates her skill. Her demeanor, the setting, and her sense of focus round out the experience as truly therapeutic and effective. Allison cares about each and every individual and it shows in her work. Highly Recommended!
Pros: Location, skill, customer service
Cons: calendar fills quickly

Sometimes you don't realize how much a massage can do for you. My massage yesterday made me feel like a new person! Thank you Alison. I will definitely be returning to AGmassage for more massage. When you have massage work that good, you wonder how you ever lived without it. Obviously, I highly recommend this place.
Pros: super work, friendly service
Cons: none

So far I've seen Andy Hahn and Meghan Clark and now I have AGmassage on speed dial. I love that it doesn't matter what LMT I get and I still get amazing massage and bodywork. They accommodate my crazy schedule and give superb customer service. Their space is great and just the vibe in general is down to earth but still very professional. The price is right too....
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing

My experiences at AGmassage have been wonderful! I love things that smell nice, luxurious lotions, scrubs, and British acccents, but they don't take the place of a truly great massage. The atmosphere is great, and they have nice music, candles, fountains, etc..., but the massage work is what brings me back. I feel like I've been on vacation after a session! Rates are fantastic.
Pros: they don't skimp on time or quality
Cons: none

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt this was worth sharing since it might have helped me out. I've been looking for excellent massage work in Portland, but since I moved here last year I have had a number of sub-par massages, which can be really disappointing. I've gone to AGmassage the past few months and I can't tell you how amazing their work is. I've seen both Alison and Meghan and both are hands-down-no-contest the best massage therapists I've ever been to. In short, you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and cozy. The therapists are on time and very professional, knowledgeable, and nice. The rates are great.
Pros: excellent massage work
Cons: none

I cannot recommend AG Massage enough to the Portland public. I have experienced massage treatment from both Alison, owner of AG Massage, and Meghan. Both of these massage therapists have impressed me with their skill, knowledge of the body, ability to customize their massage based on my needs and medical history, and desire to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. As an orthopedic physical therapist myself, I have long sought out a massage therapist with experience and knowledge that would make me feel safe in referring patients with varying diagnoses. Now, by finding AG Massage, I feel I have found two massage therapists I wouldn't hesitating on sending any patients to. These massage therapists take pride in their work, and both seek out life-long learning in their field to continue to advance their skills in order to provide the best service to their clients. Thank you Alison for bringing AG Massage to Portland! It's so great to have a massage therapist I can trust to refer patients to in the future. Sincerely, Cathleen King, DPT Physical Therapist at New Heights Integrative Therapy
Pros: Value for your time and money, great atmosphere for relaxation and healing
Cons: none

I loved this place! Peaceful and quiet, nice and comfy. And I got a great massage from Andy. He was very nice and used JUST the right amount of pressure for me. All around, a very lovely experience!
Pros: Great massage, quiet location.
Cons: Parking downtown does not equal zen

Andy came highly recommended, so it was no surprise that his skill in rolfing and massage were beyond any experience I've had at other sites around town. Wherever there was a spot of soreness Andy intuitively knew how to find it and get to it. What I really appreciate is his ability to assess the body mechanics of the problem that may be causing the pain. He treats the cause. I truly got the sense that each week my posture began to open up and my confidence and energy improved. He is able to get to the deep spots, and that is hard to do on a 205lb athletic guy like me. It was always a relaxing experience, but the benefits continue even when your off the table. Thank you!
Pros: Andy is available on weekends (sundays)

I went to AG Massage after a friend recommended going cause I was having some neck issues (I have had a series of neck and back problems most of my life, so I have been to a lot of massage therapists and chiropractors) so I made an appointment with Meghan Clark and found myself truly amazed by how comfortable she made me feel, specifically asking what I needed from her, and focusing solely on what I wanted! It was the first time I have ever fallen asleep at a massage! It was also the first time I have ever had someone give me the exact amount of pressure I wanted and the next day I felt 100 times better, not worse, like most massages make me feel when i have a "problem area" I need fixed. It's been a couple months and I am already saving up the money to go back... l'm addicted now! She's the best!
Pros: Meghan Clark is truly professional and makes you feel very comfortable, giving you exactly the type of massage you want.
Cons: It's a small office
