DAUGHTER LOST OVER 90% OF HER HAIR!!. My daughter went in for a simple hilight-lowlight. She is (was)blonde, and her hair was orange the next day. They said to come in and they would "fix" it. So she went back the next day. 90% of her hair is gone!!! They melted it..put bleach on it, they put her under the dryers. TWO DAYS IN A ROW. She used to have long, blonde, beautiful hair. NOW!! Lets just say you can mostly see scalp!! She is 27 and it has been pretty traumatic for her. If you have any info on this place, plz let me know. Really Really Badly run business. We waited 2 months for our first appointment, got down there and were told to go home because someone had not shown up for work. We rescheduled and again waited 1 month. Guess what? They called us the morning of and cancelled our appointment again. They promised to refund our money, only after I forced them. Loudest Massage Room - horrible!!!. this was my first and last time at Wack for a massage. I was in the front treatment room that was so loud and bright. I could hear sirens, buses, and skateboarders. But worse than that was the exposed pipes and plumbing directly over my head. When people turned on the shower/sink, it was so loud. And next door was office workers who I could hear EVERY word when they were on the phone. It should be a broom closet, not a spa room. Ridiculous.…

Great people, Horrific haircut.. I thought I could be calm and collected about this, but I can't. Great people, awesome location, cool venue. But the haircut is not at all what I wanted. I brought in two full pages of pictures of the cut I wanted: one of the the haircut on the model, and one of the haircut on me when I had it previously. I specifically said absolutely no shorter than brushing my shoulders - it's now 2 inches shorter than my chin, and is too short to even pull back at all. The only haircut I've ever had worse was when I got it cut by a student and she sliced her hand open and finished the haircut with her hand in a plastic bag.

I was recently laid off and got this haircut as a self-esteem boost before some interviews. Now I look and feel terrible, and I'm having to pay to go to another stylist to fix it.…

Lance is fantastic!. I am pretty picky when it comes to my hair and with little direction from me Lance did an amazing job of coloring and cutting my hair. It looks natural and the tones are great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. And his pricing is really a great deal considering his level of skill.…

Lance is at WACK!. You Portlanders are so lucky! Lance has just joined the team at Wack. Now, if I only lived in Portland. (Although he did come to San Diego and do my hair for a wedding recently.) Lance was my stylist is Washington DC for many years. After I moved there and had tried many other salons I found him and never looked back.

He is excellent at both color and cut and will gently steer you away from any self sabotage.

I have not found a stylist who compares to Lance in the 3 cities I've lived in since DC so if you are lucky enough to be nearby stop in and check out his work.

amazing hair color. I was a walk-in and Danielle colored my hair. I was having trouble getting the right shade of blonde with my store-bought box dye. She listened to what I wanted and I am so happy with the work she did. It turned out a natural, ash blonde with highlights. I wish I would have gone there before wasting so much time trying to figure it out on my own! And I would definitely recommend getting an appointment with Danielle. I will again.…
