I went to American Laser after a friend of mine raved about it. When I first went there, Tina was, of course, amazing. She's such a sweet person and out of everything HORRIBLE that's happened, I still love her to death. However, my treatments for Laser Genesis have only made my skin WORSE! I had break outs here and there, but NOTHING like what I've been experiencing since having the treatments done. I went in interested in purchasing Microderms, and decided, after much convincing from Krista, to have the Laser Genesis done. BIG mistake if you ask me. I went with her recommendations and changed what I was using as far as facial wash/treatment. Then I started having the laser genesis. Boy was I in for a horrible surprise. My face is now worse than ever! I am seriously depressed over the fact that I am having to spend so much money for something that didn't do anything for my skin but make it worse. The texture is horrible, my pores aren't any smaller, scars and fine lines are still there. Worst of all, is that I'm having to shell out a ton of money for product after product to try and fix what I am now left with. Tina has been wonderful in trying to help find something that will improve what I'm left with, but why should I have to pay for something that didn't even remotely deliver what it "promised?" I would NOT recommend getting the Laser Genesis done, unless you already have flawless skin. I think my biggest problem is that I am now stuck with paying for a treatment that did nothing, but make me have to shell out even more money to correct what I've been left with.

Pros: The people are awesome, facility is very welcoming/convincing

Cons: You might get stuck paying for something that doesn't do anything close to what it "claims"

Before you choose do your research under Med Spa's and make sure customers are having a good experience and quality service before investing your money. I can not in good faith recomend American Laser.

I can't say enough good things about this center, particularly the manager, Tina. She is absolutely the most helpful and friendly person I have ever dealt with in any setting. I highly recommend checking them out & if you're looking for the model of professionalism, see Tina!

Pros: Great service, nice atmosphere

I made an appointment for hair removal - had a GREAT time talking about it all with Tina, the manager. I also consulted with Krista for some facial rejuvenation treatments and learned so much from her I was able to competently compare the procedures and specific machines of American Laser Center to many other laser centers in the metro area. American topped the list in all categories - including personnel. You want integrity - go to American in Beaverton. Facial Rejuvenation: Krista's breadth of education and experience in skin care (with some of the top names in the world) shows in what she does and how she does it. She knows everything about the physiology of skin, treatments and products so if you are an information hog like me, you can get all the education you want! Hair Removal: Tristen is fun, funny, quick and efficient in hair removal. I am in and out in no time and, personally, I didn't find it at all painful but in reading other reviews, everyone has different pain thresholds. But as everyone remarks -- it's worth it!

Pros: Easy to get to, easy parking, lovely atmosphere, clean and molto bene staff!

Wow! The staff and the Manager Tina are wonderful people to work with. They are always welcoming, never disrespectful and completely put their customers at ease when having to deal with the not so fun issue of laser hair removal. It's a sensitive process that can be a tad embarassing and the care and comfort that the staff at American Laser in Beaverton provide is amazing. I never have experienced any anxiety, the place is always clean, the staff is personable and courteous. They truly treat you like you are their most important client. I tried a few other places before choosing ALC and I have to say I am very satisfied with my experience with them. I have been going to ALC for 2 years for treatments and am so happy I went with them instead of EMIT Health Spa. Without a doubt I would HIGHLY recommend American Laser for your skin care needs. You'll feel good, you'll look good, and you'll be treated like a VIP. THANKS

Ok i have been seeing carrie for all treatments and i am so happy i found her! she is great!!!!! My treatments are always on time, yes laser does hurt but it is worth it and love the microderm my face has never looked so nice and fresh until i met carrie..The atmosphere is great all the girls there are awesome, they make you feel comfortable and they answer all your questions and concerns..I recommend to all ladies who want there face to look good and tight! Linda P

I really like it here. Tina, the manager, is wonderful! I have had 4 treatments and rarely have to shave any more. Yes, it does hurt a bit, but the treatments are so fast that it is definitely worth never having to shave again. The office is exremely nice and the girls are very friendly and make you feel so comfortable. Thanks American Laser! You are the best (and believe me, I checked out other places)!

I found the description of what the laser treatment feels like - "Slight pinch" - to be slightly misleading. If the area being lasered is particular sensitive (such as your back, along the spin and sides), it hurts quite a bit, though briefly - like a few dozen red-hot pinpricks. But I cannot recommend this treatment more - the staff is friendly and competant, and they succeed marvelously at making you feel comfortable. Not to mention the results - a drastic reduction in hair growth, even after one visit. 9 out of 10 stars.

Pros: Effective, convenient, semi-permanent

Cons: Painful, Expensive

I called around for a clinic in town that has lightsheer laser and found only two that had a guarantee, and was shocked in the differrence of service. Advanced was way more professional and affordable. They will have my business and all my friends! Thank for being there.

I checked around at other local laser clinics and found that Advanced Laser was the most professional. The staff is so friendly and really catered to my needs and wants. I am so happy I found you! Thanks for showing how much you really care about my results! The technicians are wonderful!
