Given the myriad of products and choices for kids these days, it's downright heartwarming to happen upon this cheery spot on Alberta. The idea here is not to dress your kids in overpriced designer denim or to gift them with things they'll never care about but to present modern options on faithful and lasting toys and to offer kids clothing that is colorful, layerable, and wearable. This place reminds me of the best Parisian toy stores and their house clothing line, Wild Carrots, is hands down the cutest and most sensible children's clothing I have put my purchased.

Not to be missed, the book area in the back, loaded with titles that you'll want to buy and never give away is also a comfy area for kids to play while mom shops. Love this store and the way it makes me feel and helpful gals who run it.

looking for superb customer service, an excellent selection, a total cheery environment, and an overall amazing shopping experience? grasshopper is the spot. they've just moved, and the store looks even more beautiful and whimsical than before! and with tons more space they've added an awesome play area for the kids to sample toys or look at books, giving you the time and space to look at their wonderful stuff; beautiful wooden toys, the best hand-picked selection of books, and clothing that will make you melt! honestly, such a pleasure visiting this boutique.

HOP OVER TO GRASSHOPPER (NOW) FOR THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!

Psst... I've just discovered a childrens boutique on Alberta St. 'GRASSHOPPER' for everyone on your list,!! Beacause it offers a #1 selection that hands down far surpasses all others in town (and believe me i've frequented them all looking for finds that are found at GRASSHOPPER) any item will be a h i t when gift giving, if like me you aim to please the lucky recipient. The woman working was happy to show and tell the great array of products, books and toys, (she was cheery and obviously liked her job something you almost never see). I personally wanted a lot of the things for myself and so did my friend who came with she pointed out the music boxes that had twirling ladybugs that she had to have for herself, i loved the super cool mobiles they are a prize and the gift to get!! Also these amazing skin products for babies that you can't resist picking up for yourself to use too! Yes i got a childrens gift (a harmonica for a child and book) but also gifts for my sister, friends and myself . I did have to remind myself i wasn't shopping for me because i had so much fun there... you will too!

most beautiful store w/ out of this world customer service

whew! i found this store just in time! my new babe will be clothed in the sweetest little outfits (i even registered!!) the owner-so thoughtful- even gave me a onesie for my new babe!

the whole store is enchanting- its so beautiful.

they've got the best selection of toys and books- and a great age range of toys. i can definately cover all the kids on my list w/ one stop. and they wrap for free!!!!

there was room for kids to play- got to see the toys i was buying being "tested driven".

i'll be back again and again and again- i'm sure.

Hey last week I walked into the fresh Grasshopper store and had the best experience buying some sweet gifts for my neices and nephews. I am was impressed with the helpfull staff and certain that I will be the favorite aunt this holiday for the cute clothes and classic kids books I grabbed from Grasshopper. The classic toys(some wooden ones) are on my list too so I will definitely be back. Thanks gals..
