Clark is a wonderful chiropractor. He is not pushy, but will be honest in his assessment and reccomendations. He always tries to give you extra advice that will help to do at home. He is gentle with his adjustments and takes plenty of time with them. He listens to his patients, and individualizes his care. He seems to really enjoy his work, and is excellent at it. His rates are competitive, and he is always timely with his appointments.

Pros: great neighborhood

Cons: occasionally difficult to park

After my first experience with Dr. Clark's practice, I am overtly satisfied with the quality of the visit, adjustment, and care. Dr. Clark listens to you and teaches you very helpful at-home exercises to further improve your condition. I highly recommend his services to anyone wishing to improve their spinal health.

Dr. Clark is truly wonderful. He is someone who genuinely cares about you as a person and gives you the time and attention you deserve. He is friendly, professional, a good listener and easy to talk to. He is a highly skilled chiropractor with a vast knowledge base. He is definitely one of the best chiropractors that I have ever worked with, and I highly recommend him!

I found Dr. Pitcairn tnrough a co-worker who recommended him and his office is close to where I work. I have gone to Chiropractors occasionally for 40+ years. I already had a doctor where I lived in Vancouver, WA., but was in a lot of pain and decided to try out Dr Pitcairn. He is by far the best chiropractor that I have ever gone to treatment for. My husband did not think he liked or believed in chiropractic treatment. He had back pain (from too much watersports) and went to Dr. Pitcairn for relief. He could not believe how good his adjustments are. Dr Clark is a very compassionate, caring and provides excellent treatment. I recommend him highly!

Pros: Appointments available when requested

Cons: Not open Tuesdays and Thursdays

I am a veteran chiropractic patient, so I know what I like and what I don't like. Dr. Clark is my favorite! He takes the time to truly understand my personal needs and wellness goals and provide treatment that is specific to those needs. Unfortunately we have all felt like a number when going to the doctor's office, but this was not my experience at Mississippi Chiropractic. Whether you are a desk jockey or an elite athlete, Dr. Clark has the tools to be your best. Thank you Dr. Clark for all your help and consideration.

Pros: Dr. Clark, great office and location

Cons: Nothing

Dr. Clark Pitcairn has endeared me and my family to the art of chiropractic. His demeanor, knowledge, and flexibility keep us coming back week after week. What started out for me as means to alleviate lower back and hip pain that radiated through my legs leaving me unable to walk for a period of minutes has turned into a weekly routine that I try not to go without. Over a year later, I am still amazed at his ability to tune into the issues and alleviate the pains. Initially I was attracted to the convenient location (near work), the spa-like atmosphere, and less bustling atmosphere than other medical offices. What continues to attract me are the continued benefits I have from visits, Dr. Clark’s philanthropic attitude, and dedication to the health of my family. Every other Saturday has actually become a family event for us (often followed by a stroll through the fabulous Mississippi District). My three year old daughter jumps up and down when we remind her that we are going to see Dr. Clark. He’s no scary old doctor, he’s her friend that keeps her straight, listens to her stories, and educates her about her spine and what he is doing. My fiancé (who was initially treated for impact from a car accident) is continuing services due to the improved sleep, better posture, and appointment flexibility Dr. Clark has provided him. For each of us, Dr. Clark has a unique style of treatment that he uses and recommended maintenance programs. He is wealthy in knowledge, experience, and human compassion. I would and do recommend his services to anyone looking to improve or maintain their physical health.

I wasn't too sure about the whole chiropractic thing when I was faced with seriously considering it. Dr. Pitcairn made me feel totally comfortable. He was informative and gentle. And, it worked! I felt better immediately. I now consider it part of my total health care. The service is very personal and you can tell your needs come first. If you've been to a doctor lately, this is rare.

I came to Dr. Clark after a year of lower back pain caused by a heavy-lifting injury. Things had really "set in" by the time I saw Dr. Clark. He worked with me extensively over the course of a year to get my pelvis and lumbar vertebrae back into alignment. Now I see him for periodic adjustments, as needed. Dr. Clark is excellent at diagnosing chirpractic issues and their causes. Often I assume I'm having the same problem as the last time, because it hurts in the same way. Dr. Clark will assess the situation, though, and ensure that my "diagnosis" of the issue is actually what is wrong. Thank goodness he does, too, because often he'll find that it's a different bone that is misaligned than last time, in fact, or that my bones are twisting in a different direction than I was guessing! He must know what he's talking about, because every time I leave the office I feel "right." It's such a relief having someone who pays attention! Additionally, Dr. Clark has a strong understanding of different treatment methods, and is creative in his approach to solving problems. For instance, he uses mutiple methods for adjusting the lower back, which he will vary depending upon your comfort level that day (aggressive, non-aggressive, etc.). Sometimes, the adjustments themselves are minor in scope, and he'll instead use other methods to achieve the goal (blocking, muscle-memory work, or this super-intensity massage machine, for example). All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Clark. I had no idea what a pickle I'd gotten myself into by not getting adjusted right after my injury, but in conjunction with massage and acupuncture, Dr. Clark has totally set me straight.

Pros: thoughtful diagnoses, innovative methods, good recollection of patient needs/care history

Cons: wish my insurance company was easier to work with - they make it hard for both me and dr. clark

My husband and I contacted Dr. Pitcairn after being rear-ended in an auto accident. With back and neck pain we were anxious to get started on treatments. Although he did not have office hours that day, Dr. Pitcairn agreed to meet my husband and I at 8 pm that evening for intact and initial adjustments. I was impressed. He was willing to stay as long as it took to make sure we were taken care of. We didn’t leave his office until 10 pm that night. I can’t imagine how late he was there. But the service and care he’s provided didn’t stop there. It showed up in the little things at each visit. For example, my 4-year-old daughter often goes with one of us to our appointments. On one of these visits she gave Dr. Pitcairn a sticker out of her sticker book. Each visit thereafter, when he saw he coming in the door, he’d put that sticker back on his shirt and point it out to her. You should see the smile on her face. Dr. Pitcairn has not only been an incredible support on the road to healing, but his kindness and compassion has turned a routine appointments into heart-warming experiences. We’d highly recommend him to anyone.

Pros: Warm, friendly enviorment that welcomes kids (making it easy on the parents!)

Cons: Street parking, but I could typically find a place w/i a block, so it's not horrible.
