this is a great spot: support a local business that is kid-friendly, lovely, well-edited, quirky and full of great kiddo clothes - i buy fewer clothes for baby so that i can buy cooler clothes!
- Pros: unique, hard to find avant garde kids brands, on a great street to shop
- Cons: not enough on the sale table :O)
Excellent customer service!

I can always find something for my godson here! The designs are great...I love the sense of humor in some of the t-shirts. Plus free gift-packaging? Perfect!

Black Wagon is the meca of hipster baby clothes and creative gifts. Thanks to friends who bought out Black Wagon for my son's recent baby shower he's now the best dressed kid in town. I've also been known to frequent Black Wagon for baby showers and recently hooked my friends up with the Baby Be of Use board book series so their toddler can help contribute around the house using the helpful tips in: Baby Make Me a Drink, Baby Do My Banking and Baby Make Me Breakfast. Brilliant.
- Pros: Great selection, awesome owner and unique finds.
- Cons: Sometimes hard to justify for your own kids...but the perfect place to buy gifts!

A friend and I were shopping up and down Mississippi, and thankfully we found Black Wagon! My twins were going to a birthday party on Sunday, and the ladies at Black Wagon showed me their favorites and gift wrapped the present for me!
I really love supporting small and local businesses, and am glad that I stumbled upon Black Wagon. I've already placed a couple of gift orders for the holidays!
- Pros: Small and local business, great neighborhood, great gifts, shipping!
- Cons: Some clothes don't come larger than an 8.

The staff bent over backwards to help me find what I needed AND even
special ordered what I wanted and called me when it arrived. They send
out fun e-mail updates when they get in new items and the e-mails are
fun to read. I have yet to find such beautiful, smart clothes in great colors
other than pink and blue in any other stores.
It's also really kid and stroller friendly and a beautiful little boutique!
- Pros: Great style
- Cons: Not cheap

In Short
This bright kid-friendly store features space for strollers, items at toddler eye-level and a children's lounge. Giant wooden spools are used as tables and recycled jars have been hung as whimsical lamps. In sizes newborn to 8, the modern mix of clothing includes Reckon's edgy portrait tees featuring icons from Devo to Dali. There's also Egg + Avocado's printed French Terry collection and accessories such as Chick Pea diaper bags and nursery decor from Dwelbaby.
