We hired Benjamin Boyd Photography for our wedding in the summer of 2005, and were very happy with the level of professionality, communication, and attentiveness to our needs. We had a lot of specific portraits that we wanted to have done, and Ben was proactive to make sure the details of these, as well as the timeline were all worked out in advance. So when the big day came, we knew exactly what to expect, and it happened very naturally, we didn't have to think about it too much, and he put us right at ease. As a photographer, Ben was very attentive to our needs and special requests (even the day of), and came fully prepared with excellent equipment, and top notch assistance. During the reception, he worked in the background, but always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to capture very cool moments and one-of-a-kind candid shots. The results were amazing, and we received a lot of compliments on our albums of both portraits and candids. Highly recommended!
Pros: Great eye for artful shots, a knack for outdoor photography & high quality indoor shots. Had the choice of digital/film.
Cons: No Complaints, but if you want a lot of different portraits like we did, don't try rushing it. Send them your requirements for an estimate of the time needed.
