What A Great Shop! 100.00 under another quote The exhaust work looks amazing, At some custom shops they only get exited to work on your car it its a smoking hot rod! Craig and his guys did my exhaust like a work of art...it looks worthy of being on a smoking hotrod not a Toyota! Super satisfied with price, service, and quality of work I NEVER WRITE REWVIEWS....in this case I coulndt help it!
Pros: great friendly service
Cons: none

these guys took great care of my wife's car. They built a system that was outstanding and for a great price. If you need an exhaust system bent this is the place to go. If you guys read this I'll be back this spring with my 57. Thanks guys.
Pros: everything
Cons: it seemed that it could be difficult to get in the same day due to them being so busy, but I guess them being busy shows how great of work they perform

Excellent work, best i have seen yet. Great people, they know exactly what they're doing no hesitation. Very professional and they wont finish the job unless its A++. Very reliable and low priced work. Had them install a Cold Air Intake/Cat Back Exhaust on my 06 Scion TC and love the outcome. I would definately recommend "A Better Sound" to anyone who is looking to modify their car or just looking for a performance shop to mod their car.

Better sound is a great place. I cant say that enough. Craig is very helpful and well knowledged in his field, and If there is any conflict there is also Jim and Jimmy to assist on any question or thoughts you have on your car. They do everything from exhausts to custom fab and they can help any of those from car tycoons to those who just know what a car is. I highly recommend Better Exhaust and Performance to anyone. Just take a peek in and you will see.
Pros: Great atmosphere, personal but professional

I took my 67 chevy into A Better Sound for a full dual exhaust job. I shopped around for about two weeks and found that they had the best price and seemed to be the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic about doing the job. I dropped off the car in the morning and got a call in the early afternoon that the job was done. I was having trouble getting a ride, so they came and picked me up. I have built a lot of cars over the years and have yet to see anyone match the quality of work and customer service I received at A Better Sound. Thanks guys and keep up the excellent work.

I had quite a different experience with these guys. The guy that greeted me was like a glad handing used car salesman, seemed to be perhaps a salesman from another industry, not auto related. The mechanics there reminded me of Mutt and Jeff. However, I did let them do some welding on my 1991 Honda Accord since they were the closest people available with a welder. They perfomed what I thought was a simple weld on my Honda. As I left them, I could still hear my exhaust leaking, but I had made up my mind that I wasn't going back. I did not think they were professionals. I took my Honda to a nearby shop in Portland, and they fixed my weld (not welded over the top). I would not recommend, or go back to this repair shop. Edit: I see that you have responded to my comments, and denied working on my vehicle. That is clearly a lie. You did not give me a receipt for the work you did to my vehicle, you charged me $20.00 and gave me nothing as a reciept that is why your "records" don't indicate that you worked on my vehicle. I stand by my analysis of your company, and your retort clearly reinforces my evaluation.
Pros: They had a welder
Cons: They didn't know how to use it

I wanted to get a set of performance mufflers installed on my 03 Mustang Mach 1. After making the rounds, calling various shops in the area, I found that their quote for the install was anywhere from $60 to $150 cheaper than anyone else for the same mufflers and work. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. They knew what product what would fit my wants and needs and explained why. The car sounds awesome and I feel great knowing I got a great product and service at an extremely competitive price. The only thing holding them back from a perfect 10, is the shop can be a little tough to find, so be sure to ask for directions.
Pros: Great prices, friendly and professional crew, quick service
Cons: A little tough to find
