Went for the late night happy hour on Friday night
by dphi808 at Citysearch
Had heard some good things about the food here and the menu did look pretty awesome so we decided to give it a shot one Friday night. It was about 10:30pm when we got there, but we spent about 15 minutes just trying to find a parking spot. Definitely not the best parking situation. There was also a cop circling around the place the whole time we were trying to park.
Once we finally got in there we sat at a table upstairs and were told that the upstairs area would be closing and we'd have to go downstairs if we wanted to order anything. We got downstairs and it was pretty much empty - just one guy at the bar and a couple of girls dancing to the generic club music the DJ was blaring. Needless to say, it wasn't the environment we were wanting to eat in so we just took off.
I'd still like to give it a try, maybe during their earlier happy hour.
- Cons: Parking, have to eat downstairs during late night happy hour.
The Worst of Everything!!!
by wilsoncwil at Citysearch
This is the worst wannabe trendy restaurant in town. The food is terrible, parking is bad, neighborhood is dark and dangerous, crowd is lame, and the atmosphere is depressing. If you want to have a great night out stick to downtown and the Pearl.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Everything

Upscale purveyor of modern Northwest cuisine with a Mediterranean influence serves seafood, steaks and pastas in a waterfall-lined dining room.
The worst experience of our lives!!!!!!
by greenefrog5 at Citysearch
We went to this restuarant on Friday March 1st with four other friends. We had been to this rest. before so we were bringing some friends with us this time. Not only was this the worst service I have ever received in my life but the owner didn't really care about it and he just offered us excuses instead of a solution to satisfy us. So all six of us will never go back again and we are making sure that we tell everyone we know.
We walk in the door at 5:30 pm sit down and the waitress comes and takes our order. The portions are very small so you need to order a couple of items to satisfy your hunger. So we all are waiting and waiting and waiting... It is now 7:00pm and we have not received any of our food yet so we ask our waitress and all she tells us is that it is coming. So at 7:30 the food finally comes, she serves the other five people and then comes up to me and says I'm sorry we are out of what you ordered and then walks away. She does not offer me something else or even say they are sorry. So everyone else is eating there food except for me and then 35 minutes later we decided to get up and leave and then our second course finally comes and this time they bring me my hummus!!! How fricken long does it take to put hummus on a plate. So we call the owner over and I tell him how unacceptable our service has been. First of all he keeps interrupting me when I am explaining the situation to him and then all he can do is give me excuses. He does not even apologize to us for the worst service of our lives. We did not have to pay for our food but that is because we refused not because he offerred. I have worked at many high end and not so high end resturants and if we had treated customers like that we would have been fired. So do not waste your time going to this place.
- Cons: You pay way to much for the portions that you get. The wait staff and owner are not friendly.
Delicious Cheeseburger, beautiful atmosphere

The downstairs of Blue Dragonfly is really cool. It is set up in a lounge style with comfy couches and fancy furniture. The room is huge and great if you are going out in a large group. The food on their happy hour menu is unbeatable. I would say they have one of, if not the best cheeseburgers in town.
- Pros: Cheeseburger, Atmosphere
- Cons: Parking
Unexpected excellence in SE.

Blue Dragonfly is right around the corner from Aladdin theater on Powell...parking was tough, so carpool if possible. The atmosphere was very classy and mellow...waterfalls and dim lighting. Mediterranean menu...I liked that there weren't too many options so it was easy to make a decision. The golden beet salad and crab cakes were excellent. They have a bar/lounge downstairs with party "rooms" that were more than comfortable for our group of 6. If you like cocktails, try their Blue Dragonflytini. If you're a beer drinker, don't expect a large selection. The wine list looked decent though. Oh, and happy hour was good. Everything on the bar menu was $3.00. The crowd was diverse and the staff were friendly. I will probably go back for a "date night".
- Pros: Relaxing and classy, good happy hour, walking distance from Aladdin Theater
- Cons: Parking, would like to see a vegan menu item
Hidden treasure

A fun little place that you didn't expect in this part of town. Two levels, two bars. Top level with a cozy restaurant, and a lower level with a bar and very nice places for you and a bunch of your friends to sit (or even laydown) and enjoy the appetizers at happy hour, a great deal of good coctails.
It can be romantic and fun at the same time. Individual "rooms" are seperated by a sheer curtain.
Loved that place.
Didn't even want to write a review, cuz I wanted to keep this nice little place to myself.
- Pros: Design, food, drinks, service
- Cons: parking, parking... :(
