I was skeptical about hypnosis, but after trying everything else with no luck I figured what the heck. My neck and back were in pain for about 20 months and the doctors couldn't figure it out. I saw acupuncturist, physical therapists, a nerve specialist and more. My chiropractor helped some, but the pain always came back. For about the last 3 months I started getting some numbness in my arm and shoulder. This, whatever it was, was getting worse. A friend from the chamber of commerce suggested Dr. Jay and hypnosis. She had gotten some pain relief through hypnosis from him earlier. When I talked with Dr. Jay I wasn't sure he could help much either, but he said something that made sense. He said "Everything that happens at your psychological level shows up somewhere in your body". Although I didn't know what could possibly be causing my pain and numbness, I figured he might be onto something. So I decided to try hypnosis. I am so glad I did! After 2 hypnosis sessions my feeling and sensation came back (my numbness went away) and my pain was GONE! That was over 5 months ago and I've been 95% painfree since the hypnosis.
