The restaurant is well designed except for the garish fluorescent light above the halogens in the ceiling. Our waitress was very nice and was well informed about the menu. However, coming from New York, we were disappointed in the quality of the food: ahi tuna and salmon sashimi was chewy with a lot of tissue, the temperature of the sashimi was room temperature when it was served to us, the sushi (nigiri) was not rolled well. However, the hamachi and chawanmushi were good. Their sake selection was very small, and our choice of a daiginjo (the only one available) tasted a bit harsh. A 300 ml sake bottle, some sashimi, some nigiri, some appetizers. Bill was $114 plus tips. Overall, below average resto in terms of quality and below average value for money.
