The pros here are all just that. I've never had a bad wax at UW and I love seeing the team, they are all fabulous. I see Brooke usually but I've also seen Mindy and Shannon (I used to see her even when she was a 1-gal shop!) I am a lifetime fan for their great service, great waxing and overall awesomeness. You cannot go wrong by going to Urban Waxx.

Almost pain free brazilians ..seriousley

I have been getting Brazilians for about 2 years now and I had never been waxed anywhere before and had it be this pain free. Everyone else I went to put me through hell and back . This place gives you a comfortable and enjoyable experience... then I leave hair free and feeling beautiful! I just got waxed today after not having gone in for 3 months ( meaning the hair should hurt more when pulled out) It was honestly only painful for about 4 seconds of the whole 30 minute experience.

• Cons: Paying for the first brazilian is spendy

I had been going to Wax On for a year and I needed to get waxed today. Urban Wax was much closer to my house so I called them and they were able to accommodate me. The service you get from Wax On and Urban Waxx was black and white. The girls here were so nice. I got a thong and a lip wax and they took very good care of me and it was less painful too.

There's a reason that's their motto! These girls are the best. I have been a loyal client since the beginning, and I would never trust my Brazilian and brows to any other place. I have seen almost every waxer there, and they are all awesome! the receptionists are always accomodating and really nice and they remember my name.

Basically, I love everything about Urban Waxx! oh, my favorite thing: I can book online! yay!

Whoa prices.

I went in to get my brows and lip done, and it took all of 10 minutes. Just waxing-- not even a tweezer cleanup of the many little hairs that the wax fails to grab. $35 later (not including tip), I wonder what I paid for. They are quick, I'll give them that.

it's clear from the tons of amazing reviews that this place is the real deal. I have been going for almost 3 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is super friendly and warm and Shannon is amazing! I actually enjoy getting a Brazilian. I know, who would believe it??

Best place to get waxed!

I had my first brazilian wax about 6 months ago before a vacation. I was really nervous walking into Urban Waxx. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with Adriana, who came to get me from the waiting area with a big smile. I thought that this experience was going to be painful and embarrassing. I will admit it hurt some, but she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The results were flawless, everyone was very warm and helpful, and most of all I left already planning on a return visit. I have been back every month since then and never had a bad experience. I never thought I would be scheduling a brazilian wax for "me time", but I look forward to it every month!

• Pros: Nice people, great wax, beautiful salon.
• Cons: Parking in NW Portland can be difficult at times

Great Wax!

Today I went to Urban Waxx for an eyebrow appointment. I was a little nervous at first because I had a bad "Beauty School" experience with eyebrow waxing. I'm VERY particular about my brows, and I want them done a very precise way!

I've been growing my brows out for a very long time and I wanted to make sure that when I finally got them waxed they'd be perfect.

After searching high & low I found Urban Waxx. They had nothing but outstanding reviews so I decided to give them a chance!

I called them yesterday & they were able to fit me it today [the next day]! They booked my appointment so it was convenient for me & were nothing but helpful!

I was a little concerned when I called in today to let them know there was a possibility that I might be running late. I thought I had made an appointment with Beth, but the girl on the phone said the appointment was made with Megan.

Me being the cautious freak that I am, got a little freaked out. I was nervous about anyone other then Beth touching my brows. [Only because she's gotten such rave reviews on City Search]!

Megan totally proved me wrong! She was awesome! I couldn't be happier with my brows & I will definitely be a returning client!

The wax was as relaxing as a wax can get. There was a pre-waxing consultation that made me feel comfortable. She was a definite professional; you can tell by her technique!

Kudos to Megan & the crew at Urban Waxx!
