I was convinced to try Pilates for the first time at Studio Blue a year ago. I am an athletic girl, but I am not much of a "yoga person." But, after my first class, my soul was sold to Pilates. I have been coming to Studio Blue for a year now, and it has become my second home. The studio is friendly, personal with class sizes that max at 12. Every instructor is talented and different, and over this past year my body has changed for the better. I am more flexible, stronger, and without a doubt, have more energy. Pilates is seriously for everyone.
Pros: A

I have always avoided any sort of exercise because a) it hurts, b) it is not fun and feels like work and c) its embarrassing/intimidating for me to go to a gym. So, with much trepidation I made my first private Pilates session w/ Dan. I was warmly greeted in a lovely, cozy space and felt so comfortable, I hardly knew that I was about to work out. Dan was kind and patient and has a passion for his work that is infectious - he has always been able to target my sessions to my unique needs. He is knowledgeable and an inspired teacher – he has a gift for positive motivation. I have been going to private sessions since this summer and my bod is transformed! How, you may ask? Well, not only can I touch my toes, but two weeks ago, I touched the floor – a feat I have never been able to accomplish. Beside that, my butt looks smokin’ and I have abs – me! But the most astonishing statistic of all is that I have gained ¾ of an inch of height- all confirmed by my speechless and very impressed physician. (I should say regained after losing it from years of working at a desk and poor posture). If you love yourself, go to Studio Blue and let Dan and Angela help you create a new fabulous you.
Pros: private training, atmosphere, location, knowledgeable and kind instructors, online scheduling

I found Pilates three years ago; I was over weight and experiencing chronic knee pain. As a chef, I spend ten hours a day on on my feet. My body was failing it could not handle the physical stress. Through the training Pilates offers, I lost seventy-eight pounds and changed the way I move. I have new energy for life, and no longer have knee pain. Angela is an inspiring instructor that helped facilitate the changes I have experienced. I believe that everyone, regardless of age or fitness level, can benefit from Pilates. Jake

I started going to this pilates studio a couple of months ago, just trying to get in better shape. I had never tried pilates but heard that it was a good workout. And it was hard to pass up a free week of classes! I could feel the results even after the first class! I can touch my toes now too! And I've been told my butt is looking (and feeling) better! :) Dan and Angela are great instructors! They're so warm, friendly, and encouraging. The small class sizes are great. They're getting so popular (with good reason) that some of the classes fill up though (but they're hoping to expand). I love the personal attention and the variety! There are so many different classes to take and they're offered at multiple times so you can usually find one to fit your schedule. Some of the classes are great for stretching. Other classes are more hardcore. But even though it can be tough at times (it's good pain!), Dan and Angela have a way of making it fun so you want to keep coming back! This is a great studio for anyone, even total beginners like me!
Pros: Great instructors, good location, ample parking, relaxing environment, good prices/value, small class sizes, pretty much everything!

I started with a bad back that pills and massage didn't fix. A friend recommended Wade the accupuncturist and with skepticism I surrendered. Low and behold, I was cured. I now go every week for spiritual energy flow and to keep my back from hurting due to marathon training and long sits on chairs. Then I discovered Dan and pilates. I had no idea what pilates was but I tried it for fun. After a week I touched my toes!!! This is very exciting for me. I touched my toes. I'm so excited about my future growth here. I feel really good. thanks. Ish.
Pros: One on one training available
Cons: I can't think of any right now.

With such amazing energy, compassion, and detail, Dan has helped me shape my body, seeing results in less than six weeks. The studio has beautiful feeling when you are there, makes me feel part of the family. I am enjoying my mat class so much I feel so energized when I am finished it sets my day in a stronger positive outlook. I look forward to my classes each day. Thanks so much for reshaping and balancing my life with what I do. Charles Airey - Kripalu Yoga Instructor

I have been impressed with Studio Blue from the first time I walked through the doors. The studio itself is a wonderful space that exudes tranquility and relaxation. The owners, Angela & Dan, are exceptionally nice and show genuine care for each of their clients, no matter what their fitness level. They actually make classes really fun and enjoyable. Overall, you could not find a friendlier staff or better prices anywhere else. You will not be disappointed.
Pros: Good prices, highly knowledgable & friendly staff, wonderful relaxing ambience
Cons: Class sizes are getting bigger due to popularity and more floor space would be great

I was introduced to Studio Blue by my friend Johnnie. Going into it with a photo shoot a week away and not knowing what to expect out of class, I was pretty excited. I needed that edge to cut up my stomach and harden my obliques, with no time to spare. The combo work out covered every essential aspect of fitness including strength, balance, endurance, and most importantly flexibility. It was just what I needed. The results were instantaneous. I will remain in pilates indefinitely.

I was so excited to hear about Studio Blue. As a professional dancer pilates is the perfect combination of strengthening and stretching. Dan and Angela have been so fun and supportive while kicking my butt. Thanks to you both for helping me get back into dancer shape. Bree
Pros: Everything!

I sing shape note music where volume is prized above music ability or pitch. Since I've started taking Dan's class I think I've become even louder than I was before. Core strength! Heather Ikeler
